Sierra was absolutely shocked. Luke ran his hand through his hair and gave a small smile. "Hi, Sierra." He said. Sierra pinched herself to make sure she was awake, earning a chuckle from Luke. Ben was looking at Luke in shock as well. They used to hang out together.

"Hey, Sierra, can we talk? In private?" Luke asked Sierra. Sierra nodded and shoved Ben out. Ben tried to argue but Sierra got him out before he could get a word in. Luke sat down next to Sierra on the bed, and hugged her. He held her and she hugged him back. She could tell he had showered. His face had gained color and he was clean and shaved.

"So, I guess you are shocked. I was too. I woke up about a couple days ago and they had to keep it a secret. Actually, apparently you came to visit after I woke up. I was sleeping, but still I remember what you said. In my dream you told me you found your mate, Ben. I remember everything you have said to me while I was in a come, Sierra. Its like my brain was tuned into your voice. Anyways, I will be back in school soon. I have to do Senior year to make sure  I remember everything. It sucks, but that means more time with you. And by the way, I don't blame you at all. It wasn't your fault. It was that drunk asshole's fault." He explained. Sierra felt the tears rolling down her cheeks. She hugged him again.

He held onto her tight. She felt drawn to him. Almost as much as she did to Ben.

"I've missed you so much. You have no idea. Luke, I am so glad you are ok. I didn't think you... I thought you would be gone forever. I almost had yet another Christmas without you. Christmas and your birthdays have been the hardest days of the year. You and your family HAVE to come over for Christmas. In fact, you should sleep over tonight. We have a lot of catching up to do." Sierra ranted. He kissed her cheek and agreed. They stood up and walked out of the room, right to the car that he had taken there to find her.

They used to have sleep overs all the time. They would sleep head to toe because of the whole boy thing. When Sierra walked in the door with Luke, her mother actually passed out. Her dad was very excited. He always liked Luke and hoped they would be mates. Sierra suspected he still did.

Once her mother came to, she was in tears. They all were. Luke was loved by everybody, and his return would surely bring great Christmas spirit to the community. Sierra smiled because Luke said he didn't want to be a hassle and her parents wouldn't have it. They had dinner and talked about many things going on.

"So, what are you going to study this year," Sierra's father asked. Sierra cringed. Luke had just gotten out of a coma!

"I was actually thinking about that yesterday. I want something that pays well, but gives me enough family time. I wouldn''t want my wife and kids to feel neglected by their husband and father!" He replied, sneaking a glance at Sierra. Her parents were to busy fawning over his perfection to notice it though.

Sierra blushed and she almost spit out her drink when he put his hand on her thigh under the table. She couldn't believe he was putting moves on her. Then she say the humorous smirk on his face and knew what was going on. He was trying to get her to react to embarrass her. Two can play at this game, she decided.

She ran her bare foot up his leg and could see the straining in his face. She smirked but it quickly disappeared when he began to draw circles on her inner thigh with his fingers. She almost leaned into him. She quickly gained composure and put her hang on his thigh. His eyes widened for a fraction of a second before continuing his discussion with her father.

His fingers drifted closer to her sensitive area and she abruptly stood up. Everyone looked at her, surprised.

"I- umm. We should get to bed. Come on Luke, lets go." Sierra answered quickly.

Sierra dragged Luke up the stairs to her room. He looked surprised. He awkwardly scratched his head and said, "I don't have anything to wear." Sierra crossed her arms over her chest and then she got an idea. She ran to her parents room and got him a pair of shorts her dad never wore and never would (He said they were to "young timey" for him) and a big t shirt.

She tossed it to Luke when she got back and he changed. She went to her closet and grabbed a pair of pajama shorts and a cute little tank top. She changed in the bathroom, washing off her make up and putting her hair in a ponytail. She brushed her teeth and washed her mouth so it would smell good, and walked back in. Luke brushed passed her going into the bathroom and Sierra enjoyed the warmth the small contact set off in her body.

She pondered her reaction to him. It was as if he was also her mate. She wondered if this was all a dream, and if she had been marked by Ben and was now asleep. She banished the thought and waited for Luke. She couldn't describe how happy she felt about his awakening.

Luke opened the door and smiled that smile at her that she had missed so dearly. She couldn't have been more happy.

Luke P.o.v.

Luke opened the door and saw Sierra sitting on her bed, lost in thought. She looked like an angel. He still couldn't believe that she had somehow become even more beautiful. He hadn't thought that was possible.

She had been the first thing he thought about when he woke up. He remembered everything she had told him while he had been in a coma. He knew all about that jerk, Ben. He still thought there was a fluke and he and Sierra were mates. He felt it and he was sure she felt it too. He was trying to figure it out.

Being in a coma for so long, he wasn't as muscular as before. He knew he would need to hit the gym. He wanted Sierra to be impressed. He smiled at her and her smile lit up a thousand watts. He hugged her again. It had been a long time. He knew how many lives would be changed with his return, but there was one that he really cared about.

He already got her a Christmas gift. It was a gorgeous necklace that had her initials. He hoped she liked it. He just had to figure out what was going on with Ben. She didn't seem to into him. Well, besides the whole almost marking thing, but that is the bond. She couldn't help that.

Sierra climbed into bed and Luke grabbed a blanket and pillow and layed down at the bottom of the bed.

He woke up at around one in the morning, and snuggled in with Sierra. He copuldn't help it. She snuggled back in her sleep. Her face looked a little troubled. He kissed her temple and her face relaxed.

He knew they were meant to be together.
