While Jimin was busy overthinking his decision he heard Yoongi's footsteps coming in the living room. His head automatically turns around to see the alpha coming towards him with something in his hands.

He first helps Jimin to stand up from the cold floor and brought him up to sit on the couch.

" What is this? "
Jimin eyes the paper with his head tilted in confusion. All the crying and screaming has made his throat hurt by now.

At that question, Yoongi looks at him with a petrified look in his eyes. Like the paper holds some dark secrets that can turn Jimin's life around. But then again, Yoongi has no other choice, he had already delayed the truth for so long. And if he continues to do so he might loose Jimin for once and for all.

With trembling hands, Yoongi pushed the paper in front of Jimin to take it.
The tears has blurred Jimin's vision so he uses his sleeve to wipe them up in one go.

He looks at Yoongi for his answers but the alpha only points towards the paper as if trying to say that it has all the answers that Jimin's looking for.

After being able to see clearly, Jimin recognised it was a birth certificate. On reading it further and seeing the name on it, it was clear that it was Yoonjun's. But he still couldn't understand what this has to do with the answers he needs.

" Why are you-"
Jimin stops his body movement, as his eyes pause at a particular field on the certificate. His pupils dilate in shock, the thing that he just read was so unimaginable to his brain that his body starts to feel numb. His hands lost their grip making the paper slip out of his hands.

The absence of tears indicated his pain that was too deep for his heart to take. He was in a kind of shock that stays as it is, it is too vast to process so he just freezes on his spot.

He doesn't say anything because he's afraid in what form his words would come out.

Jimin felt the shock comes in form of waves, little ones at first but soon it gets huge and strong that he feels so swept away. They come at such random moments, replacing his devoid eyes with hot tears.

His face washed blank with confusion, like his brain cogs couldn't turn fast enough to take in the information from his wide eyes. Every muscle of his body just froze.

He turns to look at Yoongi because he still can't believe it. No, he was trying not to believe it. Because believing it would cause him more pain than he was actually in.

But when he saw the same tears in Yoongi's eyes, the same pain and torment, his apologetic eyes. Jimin knew it was real. It felt like one of your nightmare just became a reality, but you're uncertain if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

He stares at the fallen paper on the ground. His eyes again catch the same words as before and it was nothing else than Yoonjun's birthday date.

Yoonjun's birthday date.... That's the exact day when he gave birth to his child. His child that was supposedly a stillborn. His child that never made it alive to this world. His child that he cried rivers for.

His silence is soon replaced by his loud cries, and Yoongi has to wrap his arms around Jimin to calm him down. The omega cried so vulnerably in the alpha's arms, because Yoongi is his safe place and it makes Jimin show his raw emotions to him.

But once the realization settle in, he sucks in his tears composing himself. Something in him tells him not to put his guards down so easily. He looks up at Yoongi with a glare.

" What kind of sick joke is this? "
He tries to push Yoongi away from him so, he could successfully break free from his arms but the alpha didn't even budge.
