Saving Her Innocence

Betty was rushed into the hospital as she held her stomach panicking and she got into a room safely. Her mother arrived and they hugged quickly.

Betty said "it hurts a lot mom..."

Her mom nodded rubbing her stomach as her doctor came in.

"Hi Betty."

She smiled as she said "alright let's see how far we're at then shall we?"

Betty nodded as she got her feet propped up.

They checked her cervix and she said "wow...that baby wants to come out your almost fully 10 centimeters dilated."

She nodded saying "it really hurts..."

She told Betty "it should start quickening up so let's get you prepared."

They got her into the delivery room as she panicked holding her stomach. Her mom was with her as she held her hand.

"Mom I'm scared..."

She shook her head "don't worry okay? You are strong okay?"

She nodded and Betty gulped as she waited. When she was finally dilated all the way she was ready.

She held her moms hand as her doctor said "alright we're gonna take this slow and easy okay Betty?"

She nodded and she said "I'm gonna count to 3 and you will push okay?"

She nodded and her doctor said "1, 2, 3, push."

Betty began pushing with all her strength and winced holding her moms hand. After a while sweat began dripping down her face. She cried as she held her moms arm.

She winced out "no it hurts!"

She cried as her doctor said "your almost done, come on Betty."

She whimpered and her mom said "it's okay, you've made it this far. You are strong just give a little more Elizabeth okay?."

Betty nodded slowly and pushed as she winced again and the doctor suddenly said "okay Betty...you're gonna wanna look down."

As Betty did she saw her son and gasped softly. She held him as he was crying.

She cried saying "oh my god..."

Her mom laughed as they took him and cut off his umbilical cord and cleaned him up and wrapped him up. They helped Betty clean up as she slowly breathed leaning back and sitting up as her mom smiled holding her grandson. Betty smiled and her mom handed her son over and she smiled. She laughed holding him as he slowly moved around in her arms.

Betty stared at him as he moved and she smiled saying "he...he's real..."

She cried and said "he's real...and so cute..."

Her mom laughed as she cried saying "I...I love him...so much.."

She smiled as he continued staring at her. For the new school year Betty and her mom already decided they were gonna move away from New York to a nice small town called Riverdale. She smiled holding him as he stared at her.

Her mom organized stuff as she said "Elizabeth help me please!"

She nodded shouting "coming mom!"

She set down her son and ran over and picked up a huge box and set it down in the kitchen.

"Is your room all set?"

Betty nodded "yup, and the painters did the painting for the wall but I'm gonna change some of the colors."

Her mom nodded as she suddenly heard crying and she ran over quickly and grabbed her son.

"Oh it's okay...I'm right here..."

He looked at her and she smiled as he stopped and her mom smiled.

"You're such an amazing mother."

Betty laughed holding her son as she said "only the best for him...come on, let's get you to bed..."

She smirked and went to her room. As they got to her room she smiled and set her son named Tyler down in his crib as she made her bed.

He began crying and she picked him up. "Is your onesie too tight?"

She began unzipping it and saw his umbilical cord hanging off and she rubbed his small tummy as he slowly fell asleep.

She smiled staring at him as she said "I love you so much..."

She cried and softly and held his tiny hand in her huge one.

"You're so tiny...but your so handsome..."

She laughed and picked him up and got him on her chest.

She softly cried saying "you don't know how grateful I am to have you..."

She sniffled and her mom came in and she smiled softly as she slowly closed the door and held her daughter.

"I'm scared...what if he gets hurt? What if I make a mistake..."

Her mom said "everyone has to make mistakes Elizabeth...but I'll be right here with you. You have what? Two months before school...you have two months to bond with him, take care of him. It's gonna be okay..."

Betty nodded and her mom kissed her head. That night she smiled finishing the painting for his side of the room. She watched as he slept and she saw her mom come up back into her room.

"I got some burgers from somewhere near here."

Betty smiled and her mom said "I'm almost done unpacking...I think you should wake him up, give him some dinner too before he fully passes out."

Betty nodded and her mom left. She grabbed Tyler and sat down as he began waking up. She took off her shirt and pulled down her bra strap. She gulped as she held his head and he nuzzled into her skin. She guided his head as he began opening his mouth.

She smiled holding him as she said "look at you...I love you so much Tyler...you saved me...saved me from everything...now all I want to do is focus and love you."

She smiled and held his head saying "I'm never gonna let anyone hurt you...and I know this probably destroys you ever having a dad...or even me ironically..."

She laughed and sighed saying "but you know what...I don't care. If no man or boy will like you...I'm not gonna like them. Because you're the only person that I can count on. So I don't care if I don't have a boyfriend. A date to prom. An epic romance...I chose you. And that will never change Tyler. I love you."

She smiled and kissed her sons head as he stopped and she got him back into bed.
