Jugheads POV
"How could you be that inconsiderate dad!"

He shouted "how is a girl her age doing all of that!? It's impossible!"

I shouted "it's because she's determined to prove to every one that's doubted her that she can do it all even with taking care of Tyler!"

He shouted "that baby will turn out just like it's father an idiotic psychopath!"

I shouted "he's my son!"

He shouted at my face "he is not!"

I shouted back standing my ground "Tyler is my son! He is my son! Not by blood but my love! That is the strongest way to be a family! Look at the fucking serpents! Most of them have killed or hurt people! Tyler is a fucking child who has to live with the fact when he gets older he was conceived by rape! How can you be so hurtful!"

I walked away and went to my room. I groaned leaning against my table as I tried calming down and I knocked down some of my books. I saw my mom come in and she frowned picking up my books, she set them down and rubbed my back.

"Mom..."

She said "I know...I know..."

I cried and she said "hey..."

I hugged her and she said "Tyler is your son...he is...you love that little boy so much...you've done...so much for Betty and him that I...no father at your age at times would ever do, let alone not blood relation."

I sniffled and she said "it's all okay alright? You're a great kid."

I nodded as suddenly Mrs Cooper texted me to go to Pops. I suddenly heard police sirens and looked out.

I said "I have to go."

My mom nodded and I was downstairs as my dad stopped me.

"You walk out those doors you are dead to me."

I scoffed lightly and said "you know what... prison changed you, you're not the same father I had before, the father I had would've supported me, would've loved me no matter what decisions I make. But you? You're nothing to me. Guess fucking what? Bettys father, the father that told her to abort her child, the one who left their entire family, the one who basically forced Betty out of her own home, realized that Betty could do it and still make it...he realized he needed to support his kid rather than hurt her."

He said "it's not your child."

I said "Tyler is my child, I have helped him learn to walk, to laugh, to have fun, to speak...I'm his dad just as much as Betty is his mom. Thinking of anything happening to him kills me from the inside out...Betty's father got you out with his money because he heard from Betty how upset I was, how upset mom was and she wanted you to come home to be with Jelly. But now...I kinda wish she and her father didn't do any of that. So go ahead, if I'm dead to you I don't care. All I care about is the people I truly love, my family."

I looked away from him, grabbing my keys and left. I got to Pops and saw Betty as she cried and ran and hugged me, I saw Tyler crying.
