Jugheads POV
It has been a while and I saw Betty and Charles, she ran and hugged me and I held her.

She said "Tyler...Tyler where is he!"

I said "don't worry, my mom and your mom came and took him okay?"

She cried and said "it was him...that bastard that Veronica..."

I said "hey..."

She cried and I held her and rubbed her back "I'm right here Betts it's gonna be okay alright?"

She cried and I said "I'm right here don't worry."

She nodded and we kissed as she said "I love you."

I laughed out "I love you more."

She smiled and we kissed again.

When I got home I saw my mom as she said "is Betty okay? Are you okay?"

I said "we're fine...she's just shaken up."

She nodded and hugged me and I held her saying "why does life have to be like this mom?"

She said "the world unfortunately isn't a good place honey...it's an evil place as well but you already knew that...sometimes even those who are the most innocent are the ones who are targeted."

I frowned saying "I made a decision...I want to...adopt Tyler..."

She laughed and hugged me and I said "when I'm able to...I have to get a job first and all...but I want to...I want that to be my birthday present for him."

She smiled and said "I'm so proud of you..."

She hugged me and I held her saying "I love that kid...."

She smirked saying "I do too."

I laughed and she laughed with me "I'm gonna go to NYU...I want to be close enough to Betty...to raise him...for him to have a father figure...for him to be happy and to live the life he deserves."

She smirked saying "how are you such a responsible kid for your age?"

I shrugged saying "I guess being with Betty... helping her raise Tyler...seeing everything she and he have accomplished...it makes me happy...and proud."

She smiled and hugged me again as I held her. The next day I went to see Betty.

We sat together at her kitchen table as she said "Charles is keeping him under lock and key and his parents are trying to fight the accusations... they found the tapes Jug."

I said "there are more?"

She nodded saying "he said that he found about 20 tapes...which means there's a possibility Tyler has a brother and..."

I said "hey..."

She frowned and I smiled softly "it's okay...you didn't do anything wrong."
