Bettys POV
I saw Jughead as he came through the door

"Jug! Look I taught Tyler something, show daddy Tyler..."

He pointed at Jughead than himself "wuv...dada!"

I laughed saying "yeah you love your dad!"

Jughead smiled as I laughed holding him. Jughead grabbed me arm tightly and pulled me in to kiss him.

I closed my eyes and smiled as he pulled away "what was that for?"

He said "well...your trial is today..."

I sighed saying "I'm nervous but...I'm gonna get through it. Cause all I need is the people I love."

He nodded and kissed me again as Tyler began fussing between the both of us "don't worry Ty I love you so much more."

I giggled softly as he smiled at me.

I looked at Jughead saying "I'm scared but I'm hanging in there..."

He nodded as my parents asked us "you two ready?"

We looked at them and nodded as we left. When we got there Mrs Andrews and Mrs McCoy both looked at me.

"Don't worry Betty this an easy case, we have looked over all the evidence and he will be convicted in less than the hour."

I nodded and I saw Kevin and he hugged me "sorry...Archie and I."

I laughed saying "I don't care I'm just...scared."

He said "I'll be cheering for your victory...and my little nephew."

I laughed and Tyler smiled as Kevin said "Archie and I wish you good luck."

I nodded as they went to their seats. I sat down in my own and shivered holding Tyler as the trial had begun. Mrs Andrews was talking as I held Tyler, we were going over our opening statements first, Bret's team is trying to claim he's just misjudged.

So stupid.

"The first witness may come to the stand."

The judge asked and Veronica went over.

Mrs Andrews said "now Ms Lodge...my client Elizabeth Cooper said about two years ago on Halloween that she had came to your party in your apartment that had of course underage drinking but we will excuse that for now. Is that or is that not true?"

She nodded and Mrs Andrews continued. "Did you know Bret had been there?"

She gulped and said "I was presented the bunny mask...and I did see it at my birthday but Bret and I only met a few months ago...I didn't know any of that would happen..."

Mrs Andrews said "but you in fact made a post inviting literally anyone right?"

She said "yes but...yes...I did..."
