Jugheads POV
Betty and I have now been dating for about two weeks now. Tonight is her first pep rally so I'm gonna be going to support her cause I really do like Betty...and I want to see where this and us can go.

As I got ready I saw my mom as she smiled at me "I'm in shock you're going to a Pep Rally... because you always say that they're a waste of time."

I sighed and she said "it's the girl is it not?"

I nodded and she smiled. "Is she your girlfriend?"

I gulped saying "I...she's not but we're not labeling anything yet."

She smiled and said "what are you gonna do when you have to tell her your fathers in jail?"

I gulped and she said "not only that but you're a leader to a gang he ran. The most dangerous one in Riverdale?"

I shrugged and gulped.

"I don't wanna tell her...besides...if I do...wait. If I do tell her maybe she'll tell me why she has PTSD?"

She said "maybe...but you must be careful Jughead...girls like her...are very soft."

I nodded as she smiled as I said "I really like her though... and if it weren't for stupid Malachi and the stupid Ghoulies..."

She rubbed my arms saying "I miss your father too Jughead...Jellybean grew up without him Jug...what happened took everything away from us..."

I frowned and she had tears building up in her eyes.

"Your father is trying his best to come home to see Jellybean...she's only seen him once or twice...and she doesn't know how much he loves her..."

I hugged my mom as she began crying and I frowned "I miss him too mom...so much..."

She sniffled and said "I'm trying to stay strong for him to take care of you two..."

I smiled as suddenly I saw Jellybean at the door.

"Mommy..." my mom turned and walked to her.

She told her "JB go on to your room okay?"

She ran off and I sighed as she said "go support your girl. And if you decided to tell her and she doesn't support you, than let her go to hell."

I laughed and nodded as she walked me out. I got to the Pep Rally and saw Archie and he smiled and ran over to me.

He said "hey Jug...why are you here? You never come to these things."

I said "to support...Betty."

He said "oh yeah your girlfriend."

I shoved him and said "well it seems like someone came to see you."

He turned his head and saw Kevin and I said "you know you've really gotta tell Veronica to you know...leave."
