Chapter 14- The Promise In Blood! Naruto Meets The Ecidna!

"Last time on The Blue Speedster."

"Are you gonna give us the flashback?" Asked Kuruma. I just simply shook my "no".

"I feel like it wastes peoples time to give them a recap. So, I won't put anymore last times in."

"Fine by me. At least I won't have to narrate this part anymore.

"Pay attention, they are about to start." Said Kakashi, jerking his thumb to the two Hyuugas. Naruto turned back, and saw Hinata, standing there. She looked calm, but he knew that she was still nervous. She was going up against her cousin. He growled.

'I swear... if that bastard tries anything funny...' Naruto thought angrily. Thinking of all the possibilities of the battle. He knew that Hinata could win, it's just she needs confidence in herself.

"Alright. The match will start when both fighters are ready." Hayate stated.

"Before we start fighting. I'm going to give you a word of advice. Hinata-sama listen." Neji spoke, glaring at Hinata.  Hinata shook a little at his glare.

"You should give up Hinata-sama. You know you were never meant to become a ninja."

Hinatas eyes widened, and her breath shook. All her confidence Naruto had given her, and built... Vanished.

"You're too kind, and gentle. You seek harmony, and allow yourself to be easily swayed by others.  Especially that annoying boy you always speak about."  Neji's words hit Hinata, like they were daggers.  She looked down to avoid Neji's cold hard gaze.

"Admit it! You have zero confidence, you feel as if you're inferior to everyone here.   It would've been better for you to remain as a genin." Naruto was getting more, and more angry at Neji's words.   He growled at his words, and gripped the bar tightly. His hair was spiking, and little non visible statics of electricity were coming off of him. 

'That bastard...' He growled. Haku looked at him with worry, and was a little scared.

"However to register for the Chunnin exams, you need a team of three people. I bet you never even wanted to take part of these exams!  But that Uchiha, pink haired girl, and the commoner did. You didn't want to let them down did you?!" He asked with. Hinata shook her head rapidly.

"N-No! You're wrong... I wanted... I how to see... if I could c-change..." Hinata answered stammering out her response. Everyone outside the stadium were looking at her with worry.  Naruto had his mouth open a little.

'Change? Why would she want to change? She's perfect the way she is.'  Then that's when it hit him.

'Could it be... her family?' He asked himself.

Flashback No Jutsu!

Naruto was walking around the village, he wanted to meet back up with Hinata, but not at the risk of showing his powers. He's already caused enough damage as it is, but he wanted to check up on her.  He went over to the Hyuuga complex, and sensed two chakra signatures. One was a Jonin, and the other seemed to be clansmen.  He masked his chakra, and went onto the roof, it was a glass panel, as he watched Hinata's younger sibling sparring with an older person.

'Seems like that's one of the Elders. Stick up assholes.' Naruto thought. As the Jonin sensei stepped up.

"So... why don't you want to train Hinata-San? The life of a genin could be dangerous for her." The Jonin asked. She had red eyes like the Uchihas, and black curly hair.
