That night fourteen years ago was still one of the best nights in Mike's entire life.

He loved Will. He loved Will since forever and loved him more every day.

Mike never knew he could be this happy, he thought it would be impossible. How could one be so happy just by being next to someone?

Will just made him feel special. Like there were only them, no one else.

And little Julie. Little Julie they adopted six years ago, right when she was born. Little six-year-old Julie.

Mike's life was perfect. Everything was perfect.

Well, except for one thing. The one thing that has bothered him for some months.

Don't worry! It's nothing bad. He just found it weird how he hasn't proposed to the love of his life yet.

That was a problem he was going to fix. Today.

"Papa! Wake up!" The familiar high-pitched voice was heard from beside him and Mike felt something climb onto the bed. He opened his eyes to see the freckled Julie sitting by his legs, happy.

"Morning my little giraffe!" Mike pulled the girl into a playful hug. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Hmm... Eggos!"

"Eggos, huh?"

"Yes papa, please!"

"Oh, alright." Mike smiled. "But first, let's go get ready."

"No!" Julie shot up, "I am a big girl and I will get ready myself! Watch." The little girl said as she walked out of the room.

Mike lay back down on the bed, sighing. He heard a groan from beside him and turned his head to be met by the beautiful hazel eyes he saw every morning.

"Good morning, sunshine." Mike smiled.

"G'mornin'." Will yawned and put his arm around Mike. The black-haired male raised an eyebrow to which the other said, "Good morning kiss?"

"Your breath stinks."

"Shut up. Your does too." Will said as he pulled his boyfriend closer, connecting their lips.

"Will." Mike smiled; his words muffled.

"Hm?"

"I have to make Julie breakfast." he said, his lips still touching Will's.

"Noo..." Will groaned.

"Yep! Get up!" Mike jumped up and pulled Will with him. He dragged the groaning Will to the kitchen.

"Look papa!" A dressed Julie appeared in the hallway. Mike couldn't help but smile; her clothes were fine but her hair was a mess.

"Come here." Mike kneeled down and the girl walked up to him. As he was brushing her hair the girl looked at Will.

"Good morning, dad!"

"Good morning. Heard you wanted Eggos today?" Will smiled and picked the girl up.

"Yes!"

"Let's make them then!" Will said as he put the kid down in her seat. The brunet turned to Mike and Mike turned on the radio.

"Who's making them?" Will walked to the kitchen and turned around so his back was facing Mike.

"Why not both?" Mike asked as he put his arms around Will's waist and rested his head on the brunet's shoulder.

It's gonna take a lot to take me away from you.
