On the way home, I thought about everything that had happened. It was my first day at this school, in a different country, and I didn't want to make a bad impression. I'm not one to fight but Olivia crossed the line, she doesn't even know me and she comes right away insulting me and started this fight.

It's in those moments that I just wanted to come home and give it all up.In the midst of so much thought, I wake up and see that I have already arrived at the Hollands' house. I take the key out of my pocket and open the door and then Tessa comes running to me and I bend down to pet her.

From the silence I would have sworn that no one was at home but apparently I was wrong, when I was going up to "my" room Nicola leaves the office and is surprised to see me at home.

—Julie! But shouldn't you still be in class? Are you ok dear?

—Si...Yes, I wasn't feeling well.
—But has there been a problem? Do you want to tell me?

—Hmm it's okay...Maybe later.

—Okay, if you need me I'm in the office.

I went upstairs to my room, went in and closed the door.

And I threw myself on the bed. I just wanted this feeling of despair to go away.

I wake up still a little sleepy and try to find my cell phone to check the time. It was already 19:24. I'd slept all afternoon since I got home and hadn't done any schoolwork.

I got up and went towards the bathroom to take a shower and end this sleep. After taking my shower I wore sweatpants and a white crop top.I grabbed my laptop and started doing the task until someone knocked on the door.

-May I come in?

—You've already entered, right?

—True! —Replied the boy with green eyes and freckles that I adored so much. —Well, I came to check if you're okay! After what happened and you disappeared.

—Yes, I feel better!— Nothing that an afternoon of sleeping didn't solve!

—Oh, by the way, you don't have to worry about telling my mother I already told you. But don't worry it wasn't the real story I made up an excuse for her not to be so worried.

—Thank you so much, Sam. I just want to thank her for her support and love.

—No thanks, friends are for that — he replied and smiled.

Oh how I love your smile!!!—Now that I've confirmed that the girl is okay, I'm going to give my mother a little help. Duty calls me!!!

And he left.

After completing my last task, I decided to go downstairs to see if my help was needed.

I leave my room and head toward the kitchen, only to bump into sweaty, shirtless Tom. Of course he was sweaty, right had he had football training.

—Don't you look where you're going?

I completely ignored him as I didn't want to fight, least of all at his house. And then I was going to continue on my way but he grabbed my arm.

—Julie, we need to talk.

—We have nothing to talk about! — I replied thickly.

—I... just wanted to apologize for what Olivia did, I know it wasn't right.

—Now are you coming to apologize? You treat me badly, you don't like my presence here at home, your little girlfriend comes to fight with me and now you come to apologize. You don't want me here so you can carry on as you were before, you don't need to talk to me!

And I turned my back and left Thomas alone to watch as I headed up the stairs.
