Chapter Ten

My eyes open as I realize I'm not in my room, then remembering that last night I was watching a movie with Tom and I must have fallen asleep.I look at the other side of the bed and it is empty. Tom must have woken up by now. OMG what if he's upset that I fell asleep here.Tom comes out of the bathroom and looks at me.

—Good Morning! You were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up.— He said and smiled. — You looked like a sleeping angel.

I blushed. For everything. Because he's saying that, he kept staring at me while I slept. I won't sleep here again. Not that I wanted to fall asleep, because if I hadn't decided to go to the kitchen I wouldn't have ended up here.—Have you ever seen an angel, to say I look like one,— I replied, half-joking at the comparison he'd made of me to an angel.

—No, but I imagine how they are and you were sleeping so full...

—Alright,— he smiles.He returned the smile and turned to the wardrobe, looking for something to wear.

—Today I was thinking that since it's the weekend we could go to the park, do something to enjoy the day.

—I think it's a good idea. — then I notice that I'm still sitting here on his bed in my pajamas — I'd better go to my room to get ready.I get up, head for the door and walk out into my room.

I went to the closet to pick out my clothes for today and decided to wear some jeans and a gray t-shirt and my black all-star. I grab my clothes and head into the bathroom to take a quick shower and get dressed.

I went downstairs and I can already see the boys preparing a snack and putting it in backpacks.The doorbell rings and I open it, finding my friend Grace.—Good morning,— she says with a big smile.

—Good morning, are you coming with us?

—Yes, Harry invited me.— She replied embarrassed and glancing at Harry.

—It's all ready, we can go now.– Tom said taking the backpacks to the car.

The car was in front of the house, we got in and Tom started it. He started playing on Dominic Like's 3 Nights radio. Grace and I start singing and soon the boys join us and I can't help but laugh because we're so out of tune.

After a long time on the road, we finally arrived at what I assumed was our destination.

This place is wonderful, it has a huge amusement park and deep down there is a lake. I'm in love with this place.— I don't even know where we go first,— Grace said euphorically.

—How about we start big and go on the roller coaster.

—Let's go. Let's go.

Never liking to ride in fun that reached great heights, it always gives that butterflies in the belly, but I can't say it's that bad, because feeling the adrenaline, the energy that I feel running in my veins is all I need after all what has happened these days.

The park is huge, but the day is long and we can do the job, we already walked in all the fun, played target shooting, competed and took a break by the lake to eat the lunch we took from home.

The day went by really fast and the sun almost set and it's so beautiful to see this reflection in the water, I would give anything to see this view every day.

We're packing our things and getting ready to head home, but the "fun" isn't over yet, the twins have decided we'll have a movie night.
