Michael never thought moving back to Santa Carla would be dangerous, with the vampires gone he thought it would be a fresh start after the divorce but now as he stood there at the exit of the cave looking directly at his daughter, he knew it was a lie, and that's when the truth hit him. Nothing good could ever come from Santa Carla. Octavia stands up raising her hand showing her father the empty syringe,
" You know, this might of actually worked if Tyler here didn't throw a glass bottle waking me up" she said while snapping the needle and tossing it away from her. Slowly Octavia moved around staying out of the sunlight, it doesn't bother her since shes not a full vampire but it did make her skin hot. Michael looks towards Tyler, " He's still alive, just gave him whatever was in that syringe " Octavia said, she makes her way back over to the boy a bottle in hand, she bends down grabbing a fist full of hair tilting his head, " I got him good though" she mumbles feeling a tab bit guilty, as she notices the blood coming from his head, for a second her eyes turn goldish yellow again. Letting out a growl Octavia stands up, and makes her way towards her father, Michael moves watching her, " Do you really think I'm going to hurt you?" She asks coming to a stop, Michael saw the hurt in her eyes, he shakes his head not knowing what to believe, he thought she wouldn't lie to him like she had, never thought she'd run off with a group of vampires let alone be this close to turning into one " Dad I'm still me. Even when I turn into a full vampire I'm still going to be me" she said, Michael looks away from his daughter and towards Tyler, "I'm guessing you guys didn't come alone?" She asks, fear flowed through her veins, she wouldn't be able to stop the Frog brothers from kill her boys but she would definitely die trying. Michael shakes his head as he makes his way towards Tyler, " You have to stop them" she said, Michael scoffs as he bends down picking up the boy, " You can't be serious" he said, Octavia opens her mouth when an arrow flys by her causing her to gasp. Turning around Octavia makes eye contact with her uncle, beside him were the Frog brother's, " You're not stopping us" Alana said, Octavia takes a step back trying to inch herself closer to the hole that led to where the boys were, plus it was darker in there which was an advantage, "I told him not to come back" she said referring to Tyler, Alan holds up a gun causing Octavia to freeze, " Put it down" Michael yells, moving towards the Frog brothers, Alan looks down at him, " She's going to compromise everything" he said, looking back at the Emerson girl, "She's only half, we can turn her back" Sam said, he wasn't about to let someone shoot his niece if she could still be saved. Octavia moves back and there's a loud bang, followed by a hot searing pain through her side making her scream, " Stop" Sam yells, he makes his way over to his niece not caring about the Frog brothers. Octavia looks up her eyes changing color, " Leave" she snaps, her eyes never leaving Alan's, Sam bends down infront of her blocking her view, " Octavia-" " You will not hurt them" she said, shaking her head. Sam closes his eyes, " They're my mates Sam, please" she whispers, Sam tenses up and opens his eyes starring directly at his niece, slowly he shakes his head " What?" He asks, standing he turns around looking at the Frog brothers, they give him a seldom look, they heard. Edger took a step forward, " You know what we have to do Sam" Alan looks at Michael who looks confused at everyone, he looks at his daughter who was going pale, " Please" she said her voice cracking. They couldn't hurt the boys, she wouldn't allow it, even if it meant she had to kill the hunters and even hurt her father, she wouldn't let them past her. Sam shakes his head and looks at his brother, not knowing what to do, " Sam" Edger said, giving him a look causing him to look away. Sam clenches his jaw tightly before shaking his head, "Michael take her home" he said, Octavia looks at her uncle eyes wide, she starts to shake her head standing up, " No" she said, fear was flowing through her. Looking at her father her bottom lip quivers, " Please don't" Michael walks towards her, she stand up fast ignoring the pain in her side and turns running towards the hole in the wall, " Octaiva" her fathers voice rings through the cave, but she doesn't stop, She had to get to the boys and wake them. The space was dark, but she could see slightly, "David" she yells, hoping it would wake him or at least one of the others. The air gets colder letting her know shes close, " Da- Ah" the ground infront of her disappeared and she fell forward towards the ground. Octavia hit the ground back first, causing the air to leave her lungs, she laid there gasping for air and in pain.
Michael turns towards Sam, " You couldn't grab her?" He asks, Sam opens his mouth but shuts it tightly. Alan and Edger walk over flashlights in hand, " We suggest you leave" Edger said, Michael looks at him like he's crazy, there's no way he's leaving his daughter, especially with these two hunters, " I'm not leaving her" he snaps, Edger and Alan look at each other before looking at Sam, " She's not coming out" Edger said, Sam glances at him before looking at his brother, who glared at the Frog brothers, " Michael-" " She's still half Sammy we can save her, just like you did me" he said, Sam looks away taking in a shaky breath. How was he supposed to tell his brother that his daughter wasn't going to make it out of this cave alive, or live to see the night. " Your daughter is mated to the vampires, if they die so does she and vice versa" Alan said, Michaels heart stops, he looks at his brother who wouldn't even look him in the eyes. Slowly he shakes his head, " No, no. There has to be something" he said, not wanting to lose his daughter, he couldn't. Alan goes to walk past the Emerson brothers but Michael places a hand on his chest pushing him back, " You're not going in there until we find a way to keep my daughter alive" he snaps glaring at the hunter infront of him. Edger steps towards them narrowing his eyes, "There's no way to save her" he said, not liking the situation any more then the Emerson's. Michael turns back towards his brother, "Come on Sammy, it's Octavia" he said, Sam closes his eyes trying his hardest not to break. One person for thousands, but that one person was his niece. The one who shared so much in common with him, from sports, to movies, and even comics. Looking up Sam nods to Michael, " Well think of-" " There's nothing to think about" Alan snaps, a groan comes from behind the hunters causing them to turn around. Tyler rolls over onto his side slowly pushing himself up, " Hey" Alan said making his way towards his nephew, Edger stayed were he was just in case, they were in the bloodsuckers territory and he couldn't let his guard down, " Where's Octavia?" Tyler ask's, the four men freeze, they all share a look that doesn't go unnoticed by the young boy, " What?" He asks, Edger takes a step towards him, causing Tyler to look him over, " You need to leave" he said, Tyler gives him a confused look causing Alan to sigh, "She's a vampires mate" he said, Tyler tenses up and looks at his uncles before looking at the two Emerson brothers infront of him, " We can still help her though right?" He asks, sure she knocked him out but he still cared for the girl. Alan and Edger shake their heads, " You can't kill her" Tyler said, looking between his uncles who roll their eyes at him. Michael looks between everyone, slowly he makes his way towards the hole in the wall, his eyes connect with Tyler's, who slowly nods his head, "Octavia is still half there has to be a way" Tyler said, Michael slips into the hole and gets out his phone turning on the flash light before crawling further in.
