CHAPTER 23

Still Twinary POV

Everyone from production had come back to the office. It turned out there was going to be a pretty big meeting today.

As an assistant, it's my job to assist everyone so as my boss.

I pick the paper that was place on the table. It looks they're starting a social media campaign.

"How far along are you?" Bumaling ang tingin ko kay Sarquael na ngayo'y papalapit sa puwesto ko.

"I'm all done. Where should I take this?"  Patukoy ko sa papel na hawak ko at kasama niyon ay ang dokumento ng proposal.

"The conference room on the 3rd floor. The CMO* will be there, so pay attention to who's at the head of the table." Bulong niya. 

*CMO: CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Inagaw niya sa'kin ang papel na pinulot ko kanina at binasa ang nakasulat niyon. "Umm...it looks like Onkword Enterprises has started a social media account." Sagot ko na agad niyang tinanguan.

"A bit late, admittedly. Why, are you interested in this field?" I never told him that I have experience as a manager but that was a years ago so may alam talaga ako sa mga ganitong field. "I did a lot of studies on this. It was actually my thesis topic." Sagot ko, kahit na alam kong walang kasiguradohan dahil Grad school lang ang tinapos ko at hindi na ako pumasok sa kolehiyo dahil nga kapos kami at wala akong panggastos sa pag-aaral pero sinisiguro ko naman na may natututunan ako tungkol sa negosyo habang nag-aaral pa ako.

Napatango-tango naman siya,"Hmm..." Halatang malalim ang kaniyang iniisip. "Then what do you think about their plan?"    

Natigilan naman ako sa tanong niya, "Sorry?"

Matiim niya akong tiningnan, "Actually, I see a lot of problems here. What do you think?" Kapagkuwan ay tanong niya at ipinakita sa'kin ang kopya ng proposal ng hindi ko man lang namamalayang nakuha na pala niya mula sa loob ng briefcase.  "You said you studied this. Honestly?" Dagdag niya.

Seryoso talaga siya pagdating sa usaping business, "Yes, honestly." Napalunok ako ng bigla niya akong tinalikuran.

"Having a corporate social media account is better than nothing...But I didn't expect them to use it effectively. In fact, if they go about it the wrong way, they might even damage their existing image that their customers have come to count on. I don't think their content is interesting enough."  Walang pagdadalawang isip na sagot ko. Pero kalaunan ay binalot ako ng hiya.

I'm screwed. What if he was the one who wrote this proposal?!

Napapikit na lamang ako, "You're right." sagot niya kaya napanganga ako.

"The client's advertising team thinks the same, but the board members disagree. Either way, the board always has the final say, and they always prefer to take the safe route. I don't know what you think, but I'm the CEO of this company an agency at that, so unless a client asking for something with an unrealistic budget, I believe their opinion comes first."

Biglang tumibok ng mabilis ang puso ko, Does that mean he agrees with me?

"We should head down. I think it's time." Aniya at naunang maglakad. 

I finally got recognition!

"Oh, what did you say your reason was for interning me here?" Alam naman niyang wala akong experience sa ganito, pero bakit ako ang pinili niya na mag represent kaysa kay Secruby na maalam sa ganito.
