“Security escort this man out of this building after he takes his belongings in his office”.
I pointed to Mr Raji. My ex staff as of 5 minutes ago.
They dragged him out while he was still pleading.
“Mr Samson you did a very good job” I shook his hand. “As for you Miss …” I looked at the only lady in the meeting
“ Okoye. Rita Okoye” she completed
“Miss Okoye we are offering you a job here at Pearls Constructions. That is if you will like to work with us here”
“ thank you sir” she beamed.

Mr Raji a senior staff in the Human Resources department have been reported multiple times to have made sexual advances to females who come for job interview in exchange for the job.
And when Mr Samson asked him he denied it. Due to lack of evidence nothing could be done.
Mr Samson then planned for Miss Okoye to come for a job interview. And Mr Raji interviewed her where he also made advances sexually in exchange for the job.
Unknown to him she had recorded everything he said.

I got out of the elevator at my floor with Ibrahim trailing behind me.
I was very surprised to hear voices coming from Laura’s office and I even heard her laughter.
I gave Ibrahim a questioning look and he has the same surprise look on his face.
This is very surprising because nobody have ever visited her at work.

I am so curious that I had to go see who was in the office.
The door was open and behold my best friend Yusuf Mai-kudi sitting opposite Laura and she was laughing at something he told her.

I cleared my throat and that made them notice my presence.
Yusuf stood up to give me a bro hug.
“ Abdul so this is the beautiful angel that you have been hiding from” he gestured to Laura.
“Miss Umar I do not pay you to come and flirt with my guest right” I asked laura who was blushing from what Yusuf said earlier.
She nodded.
“Good now get to work” I told her. Before turning to Yusuf “ And you leave” I told him before walking out.
“He acts like a grumpy child” I had Yusuf says before I was out of hearing range and Laura giggled again.

I don’t know why I was angry seeing Laura discussing and laughing with my friend.

My door was banged heavily and Yusuf strode in and walk to a chair before sitting on it as if he owns the office.
He did not even knock, who am I kidding I don’t even think he knows how to knock. Note the sarcasm.
“What was that for?” he asked me referring to what happened in Laura’s office.
“What are you doing here” I asked him too.
“Really, Abdul I came to see my asshole of a friend and guess what he is acting rude. And that to a lady, a beautiful one at that”
“You will stay far away from my PA or I will call Rafi’a and tell her you are flirting with my employee” I taunted him.
“You wouldn’t dare”
Rafia is his fiancée whom he will be getting to married to in 2 months.
“Try me” I warned him.
“Calm down Mr protective boss I came here to ask you about what you told me yesterday, are you seriously going to Spain to see that your girlfriend” he asked me.
“ yes and just think of it as a vacation besides I missed my sweetheart”
“She doesn’t deserve you bro. it seems you are the only one who loves her” he said.
“No we are not going to talk about this again. Fareeda loves me and I know it. So please respect that and stop bad mouthing her”
“Fine I just want the best for you bro” he sighed.
“ I know. And she is the best for me”
Yusuf smiled mischievously. I know he is about to do or say something I will not like.
“But damn Abdul that PA of yours is beautiful. Did you see her beautiful curves, she is hot. I told her if she gets tired of you she should come work for me.” he said.
“Yusuf get out of my office now” I warned him.
He stood up while shrugging “whatever I am leaving and” he went to the basket containing the food Laura packed earlier and picked it up “I am taking this with me. No be only go dey chop sweet food” he said in pidgin English.
I wonder why I am getting so worked up just because someone praised Laura.
The only thing I should be thinking now is how to surprise Fareeda.
