Malia's Pov

When I ran out of the gym I looked around and spotted Wyatt walking down the hallway, heading towards the exit.

"Wyatt!" I yelled.

He ignored me and continued walking. I groaned in annoyance before running after him.

He exited the school building and I quickly ran towards him.

"Wyatt! Would you stop ignoring me and talk to me!" I yelled.

"Leave me alone, Malia" Wyatt sternly said.

He didn't even turn to look at me when he said that. He just continued walking to the exit, pushing the door forward.

I looked at him in disbelief as he left the building. I snapped out of it and continued running after him.

Luckily he wasn't too far from the building.

I used that to my advantage and ran towards him. Once I was close I grabbed his arm.

"For god sakes, Wyatt! Stop running and just fucking listen to me!" I yelled.

I stumbled a bit when Wyatt snatched his arm from my grasp.

I glared at him but at least I stopped him from leaving. So, that's gotta be something.

"What do you want, Malia?" Wyatt asked, gritting his teeth.

"What I want is for you to turn around, face me, so I can tell you what happened. Please" I sternly but softly said.

My eyes wandered down to his hands and I saw them being curled into fists.

I was worried, only to internally sigh in relief when Wyatt slowly, but finally, turned around to face me.

I had to stop myself from flinching because I couldn't lie when I say that the look in his eyes was downright murderous.

I've seen his face whenever he was angry or jealous.

But this...

This is nothing compared to the faces he makes when he's angry or jealous.

This...this is something different. Something I couldn't even put a label on because this emotion was something I didn't know.

I hope that when I clear everything up, it'll go away.

"There is nothing to talk about. I saw everything with my own damn eyes" Wyatt scowled.

"Wyatt, whatever you're thinking isn't true. None of what you're thinking is true" I said.

"So I didn't just witness your intimate moment with A-lan?" Wyatt sarcastically asked.

"Wyatt, there was nothing intimate between us. We were just talking" I defended.

"Yes, because talking requires for your hands to be cupping his face and for your foreheads to be pressed together" Wyatt scoffed.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist at my side.

This boy...I love him, I really do.

But he's going to be the reason I end up tackling him to the ground just to beat him up.

"This is all just a misunderstanding. That's all it is. Can you please just calm down so we can talk peacefully?" I asked.

"I don't want to hear it. I saw what I saw and it's very clear what happened between you and that alien freak" Wyatt growled.

"Hey! Don't call him a freak!" I yelled, getting more angry and defensive.

"I'll call him whatever the hell I want to call him!" Wyatt yelled back.
