Never Let You Go ~ 17

The sun was setting just as I walked out the door. A palm tree in my backyard casted a shadow on the roof of the house.

I had a bathing suit top on with short shorts. The weather looked awesome so I decided to go for a ride on my skateboard down the sidewalk by the beach.

The sound of the wheels hitting the pavement pounded in my ears. My flip flops were stuck to the board until I did a couple flips on it.

I came to a stop at a deserted bench beside a lamp post.

The sound of another skateboard came behind me and I looked back, seeing Justin smiling at me.

I jumped up to hug him when he flew off his board and clothes lined me onto the ground. He lay on top of me while we laughed -Well, he did. I was trying to get the air back that he knocked of me.

He stood up and helped me up along with him.

I was about to grab my board when he pulled me into a hug, leaving my face in front of his.

"I haven't gotten to kiss you for a while. I miss it." He whispered. An idea popped into my head. A smirk made its way onto my face.

I slowly moved in and an inch away from his mouth I whispered, "You'll have to catch me first."

Before he could catch on I took off down the beach allowing my flip flops to fly off my feet.

I ran to the edge of the water and saw Justin casually walking towards me.

"Hey!" I yelled. He suddenly ran at the speed of light towards me.

I speeded across the edge of the water with Justin right on my tail. Soon enough I had to stop and Justin swooped me up bridal style, planting a passionate kiss on my lips.

I dreamed about these moments.

"I will keep you forever." He whispered, "I will hold your hand for Infinity. I will have your heart until the day I die." The words sunk into my brain as someone rubbed the side of my hand. There was IV's in my arm and gauze wrapped around my head.

I was unable to speak or open my eyes, but my ears were working perfectly. His hands were soft and comforting.

A second later I felt a kiss on my lips. I wanted to open my eyes but there was tape holding them down.

Everything went black.

When I came back to reality Justin and I were literally making out. He let out of the kiss and put his arms around my waist, I was standing now.

"What is it?" He asked as he examined my tensed up face.

I smiled my biggest smile.

"Just Kiss me." I put my hands on the bottom of his face and kissed him.

He pressed mis forehead to mine and I placed my arms around his neck. We stood there rocking back and forth for a few minutes.

"Are you sweating?" Justin asked randomly. I was, but it was from my memory.

"Kinda. It's a hot out-" I was interrupted when he picked me up and threw me in the ocean water.

I landed with a big splash and popped right back up. Justin is standing at the edge if the ocean laughing his head off.

"Touché." I giggled, walking up to him. As soon as I got up to him I wrapped my cold wet arms around his shirtless body. He squealed quietly from the sudden coldness but clung to me in a hug.

His head laid on mine and we just watched the sunset.

"Here. I brought a blanket." He ran up to his skateboard and got the blanket.

"How'd you know I was even here?" I asked when he got back to me.

"Grace said you went for a walk. This is always where you came when you wanted to go for a walk or just think." He kissed my cheek and laid the blanket down flat. He took my hand and led me to the blanket.

"Thank you." I said.

"It's nothing. Are you going with me this weekend?" He asked as he intertwined our fingers.

"Yes, Grace took me shopping. We got flowy dresses." I smiled sweetly at him.

"Good because it's just stuff like truth or dare with a few people." He reminded me.

I smiled and kissed his cheek.

We laid on the blanket, hand in hand, watching the sun set to darkness. The Full moon came out and stars poked through.

"We should go now." I whispered to a half asleep Justin. My head was resting on his chest allowing me to hear his heartbeat.

"Mmmhmm." He hummed, vibrating his chest. I climbed up onto my feet and yanked his arm along with me.

"Come on Justin it's getting dark." He finally got up and we walked to the skateboards.

"Wait! We can't just ride home. Here, hold my hand." He grabbed his skateboard and took my hand.

"We're gonna hold hands and skate?" I asked while getting on my board.

"Yup. That's what we used to do." He said.

We rode all the way to my house like this.
