I sat in the car, not wanting to speak. I can't believe that happened to me.. He must be after me again. I'll have to go through it all, again! The plan has to be finished quickly or it'll be too late. Steve looked at me, I'm sure he wanted to say something else but he went with the plain old "I'm sorry that happened to you.. Jules." It's nice that he cares and it might me more comfortable that he used my nickname. I smiled at him. "What happened exactly?" Dustin said, leaning forwards. "It was weird... I don't want to talk about it." I responded. It was too early on to be describing everything that happened to me. They both nodded and I noticed Max staring at me in worry. I looked back at her and gave her a reassuring smile, she returned one but I could tell it was fake. "Could you turn the music up?" I continued. Steve nodded and did as I asked. I saw his hand move towards mine but then moved back. I pretended to not notice but... It was cute that he wanted to hold my hand.

When we got to mine and Max's, I ran upstairs to my room. "JULES!" Nancy shouted, following me. "Let them have a few minutes to themself." Steve said, also following behind. "I don't want to talk about it, Nance.." I laid down on my bed, facing the opposite way to them. "You're always hiding things from me. We're supposed to be best friends. But you can go off and tell someone everything even though you've only known him for 3 days." She continued to rant when Steve interrupted. "Of course they told me, I was there when it was happening." Nancy looked at Steve, shocked. "They clearly don't like you back, Steve, hop off them." She retorted. "Get out." I said suddenly. Nancy looked at me and scoffed. She stormed out and Steve looked at me. "I'll let you have time to yourself." He smiled and left, closing the door behind him.

STEVES POV:
I came downstairs to the kids, noticing Nancy and Robin weren't there. I sat down when Max looked over at me. "How are they?" She looked worried. It must be hard seeing your sibling in that state... "Stressed. Annoyed. Traumatised. All those great feelings." I responded. "Where's Robin and Nancy?" I continued. "She stormed off and Robin followed after her." She got up from her seat and moved over to us. "Jules gave me these when they first found out they were cursed by Vecna." She was holding a bunch of letters and started handing them out to us. When she gave me mine, I was surprised. "Why do I have one? I didn't know them until recently." I looked at Max, confused. "It must be new. You might need to ask them about it." She gave me a warm smile. She definitely knows the answer to my question. "Wholesome letters should be a daily thing." Dustin said, he was smiling at the letter. "Why do we need letters?" Lucas questioned. I was thinking the same thing but.. I daren't ask. "I don't know Lucas. Ask them yourself. I don't know everything about my sibling. Oh but maybe because they're cursed and they're afraid they're going to die!" Max didn't even hesitate with that response. I guess the breakup between those two and the traumatisation of her sibling must have affected them. "Jules said to only open them when... they're not in the world anymore... So.." She continued. I could see the tears forming in her eyes. I felt bad but I doubt she wants a big deal being made out of it.

YOUR POV:
You sat down at the Hellfire table, smiling at Eddie. "Hey Jules. Have you been off with Harrington again?" He said. I kept silent. "I don't mind. As long as you're happy, I'm happy." He continued. I nodded. "Kind of.. Vecna nearly got me." Eddie looked at me like he's just seen a ghost. "Did Harrington save the day?" He didn't seem happy but I nodded anyway.. I mean, he knows when I lie so.. "He's not as bad as I say he is. It wasn't his fault I became the freak. I kept annoying him and- He just shouted that I was a freak and it stuck because he's King Steve." He continued. I raised my eyebrows. Maybe I could be friends with him then.. I smiled. "He's nice to me, Eddie." He laughed. "Whatever happens, I'll miss you. To the upside down we go."
"And we go quietly, Munson." You continued.
