(Y/N) was now in a total state of bewilderment as he finished his sentence and turned away from her. A cold chill replaced her anger as she mused on how his voice sounded, realizing exactly who it was. It was Sammy Lawrence. The man who had taught her everything she knew.
"Sammy, wait..." (Y/N) pleaded weakly, causing Sammy to stop just as he reached the door to the next room. He glanced back at her warily. "You don't have to do this..."
Sammy stared at her for what felt like hours, before sighing.
"You know I wish that were true. I wouldn't do this if it weren't the only way to be free, dear."
"Sammy... do you know who I am?" she questioned, her eyes wide with desperate hope as he paused before stepping closer. Silent. "It's me... (Y/N) ... your little Ambrosia..." she whispered hoarsely, and she couldn't see it, but she knew his face was contorted in shock.

"Alright, (Y/N), let's try this again." Sammy told the 13-year-old daughter of Joey Drew, trying to sound serious, but he couldn't keep the warmth out of his eyes as he gazed at the girl who had come to mean so much to him.
"Hehe~ okay Sammy, I promise I'll try to do better this time!" (Y/N) replied with a wide grin, causing Sammy to break out in a smile that had become so rare to him.
His wife had recently left him, taking both his 14-year-old son, George, and his 12-year-old sister Nellie, with her. The young lady at his side by the piano, Ari, as he liked to call her in short of her character name, was all he really had left. And, knowing what Joey was really like, he felt more like a father to her each passing day.
Little did he know, young (Y/N) felt the same. She hadn't failed to notice her father growing more and more distant, while her mother also became more and more ill.
'Maybe... maybe if I do really well in the show, Daddy will spend more time with me... maybe it'll make Mother feel better...' she thought hopefully, doing her best to concentrate hard on the song Sammy was practicing with her.
After a few minutes, Sammy nodded in approval, standing and turning to her with a soft smile as she took his spot at the piano, pushing a microphone closer to her.
"Okay, now it's your turn. Let's see how much you've learned, and if you do well, you can be done for today."
"Aww, but Sam...." she pouted, and he chuckled softly at the nickname only she used for him. "I love practicing with you! You've taught me so much... maybe enough for my father to notice..."
