Rory walked, dressed in a simple sleeveless pleated navy gown that zipped at the neck, which Honor had gotten her last minute, holding onto Finn's arm up the stairs of the Chiswick House, needing to take a deep tactical breath.

Despite knowing that the situation was very different from what she had feared, she still feared the prospect of potentially having to mingle or somehow ruin things by simply being there. Finn helped her hang up her coat that until now hung just over her shoulder and the two made their way towards the groom's suite so Finn could fill his duties as the best man. Not that Logan really needed him there unter the circumstances. Rory tagged along - she didn't need to either. But she prefered the company of Finn and Logan to the majority of the crowd there. Besides, more than anything it was a show of support.

Logan smiled broadly as he saw her, her slim figure and porcelain skin against the blue dress made his heart skip a beat. Her hair was pulled up into a simple low bun and the dangling sapphire earrings Logan had gotten her just the day before complimented her outfit perfectly.

"Now there's a sight for sore eyes," Logan said with a smirk as they entered. His eyes were in fact a little sore from the lack of a good night sleep and that for many reasons.

"Not so bad yourself," Rory commented, adjusting the rose in his suit pocket, there being definite electricity between the two. Anyone would've been blind to see it.

"Get a room!" Finn scolded playfully. "Now Logan, got everything you need?" he asked, trying to do his part.

"You've got the rings I assume?" Logan asked Finn.

"Got them right here," Finn replied and patted his suit pocket.

Rory walked over to the mirror to check her make up real quick, and was just about to say something when someone barged in without knocking. Her heart nearly stopped in fear that they'd been too sloppy.

"Logan, son, how are you doing in here?" Mitchum asked, jolting Logan out of his broad smile, only then beginning to glance around the room, greeting the rest with a slight nod.

"Dad," Logan nodded in greeting. "I'm ready when they are," he added quickly in a carefree tone.

"Rory? I didn't expect to see you here," Mitchum stated questioningly as he noticed her.

"Well... I am one of the best friends of the groom after all," Rory replied as if there was nothing out of the ordinary in her presence in the groom's quarters. Thankfully Finn was there as well, making it a little less awkward.

"Alright, why don't we give the father and son a minute," Finn suggested playfully, sensing questions forming in Mitchum's head, leading Rory out the door before he had a chance to ask any of them. Rory had hoped to give Logan one last kiss before the ceremony, but that would just have to wait.

"You're seriously okay with her being at your wedding, Logan? And she is too?" Mitchum asked Logan, as the two slipped out.

"Why wouldn't I be?" Logan smirked, playing oblivious as he adjusted his bow tie as the final detail. If he only knew - the mischievous teenager in Logan thought. He wanted to scream out to the world, let everyone know how he felt, but he needed to hold off a while longer.

"I figured you two had... something," Mitchum commented in passing, brushing the thought aside. Perhaps he had been wrong?

Logan was so tempted to say something, and almost biting his tongue, but he did anyway.

"We have something, always had and always will," he added casually, without elaborating, causing Mitchum to raise his eyebrows, not fully understanding what his son was saying. Maybe it was like he had with Catherine? A special place in his heart along with the knowing that it would never work in real life?
