Sneak out or in?

Pete's POV

I had to call out to Khun Vegas a couple of times...

But he was unresponsive.

I'm trying to remove the chains off my hand..

I grabbed the chains attached to the cuffs on my hand to lift my body upright.. I'm upsidedown right now....good thing I have pins attached to my sleeves... I'm trying to pick the lock off..

[Bang!]

"Ouch!!that hurts" I grunted..

Now I'm free..

My wrists still hurt.. I went near Khun Vegas..

"Ohh..that took so long.." he said while smirking.

"Khun Vegas? I thought you passed out..you weren't responding to me.. I've been calling you nonstop earlier.." I said with a worried tone.

"I didn't pass out... I just feel too weak to respond.." he replied.

"Okay I'll get you free from those chains." I said to him.

"Okay feel free to try.." he said..he sounds like he's challenging me..

I climbed up to the other hanging chains near Khun Vegas... I'm acting like an actual monkey right now...

I got to hang up the chains he is attached to.. hopefully this holds us both.... I wrapped my legs around the chains and let my upper body fall downwards..so that I can work on unlocking the cuffs..

I noticed that this was a unique cuff...no wonder Khun Vegas is challenging me earlier..this is a bit hard..mine earlier was easy to unlock..

"Any news?" Khun Vegas asked me.

"Not yet Khun..this is a different one from mine earlier.. it'll take time for me to unlock it.." I replied.

"Hmmm...okay good luck with that.. I had been taught to unlock these things too but this one is unfamiliar.." he added.

"Uhuh..wait a sec Khun I think I got it.." I said.

[Clang!]

Oh no!.. I immediately grabbed Khun Vegas' arm to prevent him from falling...

Now my legs hurt.. I can't hold on much longer...

"You can let go now.. I can take this fall.." he said.

"But Khun..your wounds are severe" I argued.

"It's fine... I can really take it.."  He said firmly.

I let him go slowly so he won't have a hard fall.

And then I let my legs go off the chain and landed on my feet.

"Are you okay Khun Vegas?" I asked him.

"Yeah..now help me up..we need to sneak in.." he said.

"But-" I was about to argue but he cut me off.

"I'm not going back without any useful information. That will render my injuries useless" he said..he tried to stand up alone..and he succeeded at his first try..

He went for the door..

It was locked from outside.

I tried to look for another way out and saw an air ventilator..
