Eleanor makes her way into the 21st having finally been allowed back into work after a two month undercover job. She was looking into the murder and rape of four girls and was put into the scene to draw them out. Only having result in one more homicide the day she got the man In charge. Eleanor had vaguely met her new partner Jay Halstead. He seemed sweet from what she could gather. She doesn't hold anything against him for chasing her. He was new didn't know she was undercover he was just trying to do his job. Eleanor made her way up to the front desk holding a coffee and breakfast for the desk Sargent. Trudy looked up from her work seeing the smiling face of Eleanor as she approached.

"Look at that it's my favourite Detective. What's been going on Sunshine." Eleanor smiled placing the coffee and food on the desk.

"Hi Trudy." See Eleanor and a select few other were allowed to call Trudy by her first name. Trudy reached forward taking the brown paper takeaway bag. She looked inside and smiled with spread ion.

"You didn't have to do this. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS!" Eleanor chuckled as Trudy raised her voice notifying the other people in the room this is how she wanted to be treated.

"Thanks so much hon." Eleanor smiled softly knowing Trudy had a massive heart.

"How are you doing?" Trudy asked leaning forward slightly. Eleanor sent her a smile. Trudy knew it was forced reaching out a hand and comforting Eleanor briefly before pulling away making sure nobody saw.

"I've been better." Trudy nodded.

"You don't have to be here. Hank would understand. It was a big case. If you need time..." Eleanor nodded.

"No I need to be here. I just can't be alone at home. I 'd rather be here working."

"What about Dani?" Trudy asked waving some officers away.

"She's at camp, it's her holidays she's in Australia at the moment." Trudy nodded.

"The offer to stay at mine is always open you know that." Eleanor sent the Sargent a smile.

"I know. i'll be fine. Thank you though." Eleanor thanked gratefully for Trudy's kindness.

"Look you just let me know if anybody gives you a hard time. I'll..." Trudy made a bang noise signalling she'd deal with it. Eleanor chuckled softly at the Sargent.

"I will. Thanks Sarge. I'll see you at lunch?" Eleanor asked, she and Trudy sometimes ate lunch together. Eleanor would take her laptop down and sit behind the desk having a good old chat with Trudy while they both worked. Hank let her normally also knowing even if he said no Eleanor would find a way to end up down stairs without actually taking the stairs, he had lots of practise form her teenage years. Eleanor was stubborn to say the least.

She made her way towards the stairs walking up them scanning in making her way into up to Intelligence.

"Look whose back." Antonio announced. Everyone looked to see Eleanor smiling softly as a hello. Her bag slung over her shoulder as she came to a stop.
