"Why are you even here?" Sebastian asked with softy furrowed eyebrows, slowly turning around to face Calum and seeing the tense look on his face. Calum scoffed out an unamused laugh.

"I could ask you the same thing." Calum glared, taking a step towards the slightly shorter man. "What is it you're really doing in London, Sebastian?"

"What, you're keeping tabs on me now?" Sebastian chuckled, only irritating Calum more.

"Yeah, like you're keeping tabs on Rosemary, right?" Calum tilted his head slightly, watching Sebastian's face immediately shift - his nonchalant façade turned into a severe, almost offended expression.

"...What did you just say to me?" His voice was quiet, eyes narrowing as he took a leaden step towards Calum, who bit the inside of his cheek to manage his growing aggravation. "What the fuck did you just say?" He spat, his voice growing louder.

"You heard me." Calum stated firmly, taking a step forward as he gave Sebastian a disgusted look. "You lied to me about why you're here. It's not a coincidence you've come to where Rosemary is-"

"How do you even know Rosemary's here?"

"So why not just tell me the truth, Sebastian? Keep me in the loop, just this fucking once." Calum's voice gradually began to shake from the aggravation he felt, his words stifled slightly through gritted teeth.

"...Have you seen her?" Sebastian uttered sternly after a pause of hesitation, staring into Calum's eyes as if searching for the truth... Calum couldn't bring himself to speak for a moment. "Tell me. Have you seen her?"

"I did." Calum finally admitted, his words coming out stiff. "I saw her. And as soon as I did, I knew you were full of shit."

"Where did you see her?"

"Why should I tell you that?"

"Calum-"

"You need to explain to me what's going on-"

"Calum!" Sebastian abruptly cut him off, stepping towards him with a severe stare; it wasn't his change in volume or even tone that cut Calum off, however. It was the harsh, shooting pain that suddenly wracked his skull, almost bringing him to his knees as he yelped out and threw his hand against the wall for support, his other hand gripping his head. Then, as the brief shock of pain subsided, his eyes slowly found Sebastian again, staring up at him with a heaving chest and a twisted frown of distress and betrayal.

"You just-"

"Don't make me have to do it again." Sebastian spat out, staring down at Calum with a look of momentary disgust. "Just tell me where you saw her." Calum hesitated, but seeing Sebastian's fist clench at his side reminded him of what his power could do. It wasn't worth being petty.

"...At The Vault." Calum choked out as he regained his composure, standing up straight and avoiding Sebastian's flaming eyes. The other man bit the inside of his lip harshly, almost drawing blood with his stifled fury. The answer that Calum gave was the answer that he feared.

"...Was she with someone?" Calum's eyebrows furrowed at the unexpected question. Before he could even consider how to respond, another pain shot through his skull - less than before, but enough to make him wince and hiss out a harsh breath.

"Jesus, what the fuck?" Sebastian was unfazed; he didn't care about the pain he was causing Calum. He just wanted his answers and he'd do anything to get them. "Yes, she was, what's wrong with you?"
