With Sebastian and Vera in captivity in Helena's home, Rosemary was feeling far more safe - even with the looming knowledge that they didn't seem to be getting any closer to an answer, a solution for her, as more time passed. Still, they were nowhere near giving up - Helena only saw it as a challenge for her own knowledge and abilities. She was determined. There had to be... something.

Rosemary was extremely appreciative of Helena and all that she did. Especially the potion that she provided her the day after incapacitating those two traitors - it had been almost two weeks since the concoction ended up in Rosemary's possession, and she'd been free of those haunting dreams ever since. Not just the dreams, though - as promised, no more unprecedented magic and nosebleeds... She could barely believe it.

One thing Rosemary found herself grateful to be free of since taking the potion was something she had never actually discussed with anyone else until after they were gone... The waking flashes of memories she'd been struck by, on occasion. The ones that wracked her brain, ached her head and kept her awake. Exhausted her. She'd never realised those sleepless nights and throbbing migraines were, in fact, symptoms of the spell itself undoing.

She was sleeping well, Luke often by her side, and she didn't feel so on edge anymore. It was a blessing.

Luke was so pleased to see her so much more at peace, even if he couldn't give her the solution he so badly wanted to provide for her... Instead, he tried to provide for her in other ways - giving her distractions, comfort, and romance. She deserved it. And whilst the potion was a blessing for Rosemary, spending time with his girl was a blessing for Luke.

Feeling closer than ever, they'd gone on a picnic in a secluded, wooded area near a public park. Something so simple, so sweet to bring them even closer together. Rosemary took it as another opportunity to take photos of Luke.

She gladly snapped away at him as he sat under a beautiful willow tree, the sun ever so slightly golden as it seeped through the leaves and lit up his ivory skin. He didn't know how to pose - he just chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes as she gave him instructions or simply captured him snacking on the chocolates and strawberries they'd brought along.

"Look at you." She grinned as she returned to his side, sitting on the grassy floor beside him and tucking up underneath his arm to show him those strikingly lucent photos. Luke's smile faltered slightly when he saw himself; he tried not to show it as Rosemary looked at him adoringly. "You're so beautiful, it's unreal..."

"You really think so?" He asked softly as he stared uncertainly at the image on the screen, making Rosemary's eyebrows shoot up questioningly.

"You don't think so?" She scoffed, nudging him slightly. "The evidence is right there, Luke."

"I just... I'm still not used to seeing photos of myself." He cleared his throat, glancing down at Rosemary's now curious face.

"You're not?" She'd taken plenty of photos of and with him on her phone at this point. He didn't always look at the results. She had been curious why he wasn't particularly interested in seeing.

"No. We don't really take photos around here..." He pressed his lips together slightly, thinking about just how long it had been - before Rosemary, that is. "We didn't want people to find photos from decades apart and figure out... What we are, you know? Either because we haven't aged or because of that strange effect you see on all of these photos."
