A feeling of dread like no other seemed to absorb Luke, making the hairs on his arms stand on end. He was speeding down the street, hearing only muffled noises from the speaker of his phone that he'd left on the dash. His heart was racing uncontrollably, wanting nothing more than to have Rosemary in his arms again, to know that she was safe... The bits and pieces they'd all heard on that phone made that seem unlikely.

It was like she'd been ambushed. The sound of her panicking, of Vera protesting, of the phone falling to the floor and of Sebastian demanding that they do the spell... Luke felt sick to his stomach. He'd never expected anything like that to happen when he rang Rosemary, not even when he hopped in the car with his friends to pick her up - he wanted to get her away from Sebastian and Vera so that the pair could be... confronted, away from Rosemary. But it seemed they were one step ahead.

"We need to get into her house. We need to go in and get her. We need to stop them." Luke was thinking out loud more than anything, occasionally biting the skin off of his lip from the stress... Unbothered by the taste of his own blood that would quickly disappear after the flesh healed. Until he bit it again, letting the sting ground him.

"Only you and Helena can enter." Michael frowned from the backseat, his leg bouncing up and down from nerves.

"Then so be it." Helena stated confidently, looking at Michael, who gave her a particular look that silently asked, 'are you sure?'
And she was.

"We just have to get her... We have to get her." Luke spoke through gritted teeth, and everybody in the car - Michael, Helena, Calum - knew that absolutely nothing else was crossing his mind. He was transfixed, focused on driving, biting his lip, and the simple fact that he had to get Rosemary out.

Only once he'd pulled up near Rosemary's house could he focus on anything else. "Wait-" Michael blurted once they'd all gotten out of the car and Luke and Helena started making their way to the house, forcing them to glance back at him - Luke almost turned away immediately, too tense to wait for further explanation. But Michael, thankfully, was quick. "Won't they know you're coming? If they're witches-"

"Shit." Luke interrupted, his lips tightening together in irritation as he ran a hand through his already ruffled hair. Helena's eyes widened in realisation.

"You're right. They'll know if a vampire enters the building..." She grimaced, bringing her hand nervously to her mouth in thought whilst Luke stared up stressfully at the apartment building.

"I don't give a fuck. I'm going in." Luke slay, turning to make his way over fearlessly.

"Luke, don't." Calum stepped in front of Luke, a clear sense of alarm on his face and in his eyes. Luke's eyebrows furrowed... He realised that Calum was afraid. After all, one vampire couldn't really do much against a witch.

"There's something I can do... It's risky, but it might work." Helena muttered hopefully, immediately catching Luke's attention.

"What is it? I'll do anything." Luke stepped towards her hopefully, seeing the uncertain look on her face.

"...Cloaking. I've only done it a few times, and usually on my own, but I can try it on both of us and if it goes right, they won't know either of us are there - even if we're right in front of them. It's not just visual cloaking, it means they won't even be able to sense us."

"What? That's perfect. We have to try it-"

"We will. It'll get us in. But you have to know - I can't do other spells while cloaked. And if you make physical contact with any of them, that's it - the cloaking stops."
