Eddie lays quietly on the couch, though he wasn't asleep. All the lights are off, and the TV was on, quietly playing a weird fashion show. Eddie was staring at the ceiling, with a terrified look in his eyes. The portal was there, with tentacles climbing around the walls of his house. The loud oppress from the snaking branches of the upside down had Eddie shaking; quivering as they dripped sloppily with an unusual ooze that made Eddie shiver. That's when he heard the bellowing of demo bats from the other side, with loud shrieks piercing his ears, "No," He breathed out, "No no no!" He yelled, shooting up from the couch. He dashed out the door, slamming it behind him. He sat against it, making sure it wouldn't open. He was outside at 2am, shirtless and a sobbing mess. He held his knees close to him, feeling like so many things were wrong with him. He was having dreams, hallucinations and then tried to kiss his friend who was simply just there for support. That's when he heard faint gusts of wind and high pitched squeaking. He looks up, seeing demo bats flying straight for him.
He woke up in cold sweat, breathing heavily as if the oxygen in the room was the only air left to breathe. He sat up quickly, seeing nothing but his bedroom. His eyebrows furrowed. He fell asleep on the couch.
"Woah, are you alright?" Steve asked, being right next to him, sitting up just as Eddie did.
"Wait," Eddie says, waving his hands around, "I was out in the living room," He pauses, "Am I dreaming?"
"Pretty sure if you were dreaming you wouldn't be able to ask," Steve says, about to admit the truth, "I brought you back in here because you fell off the couch. You were crying in your sleep, and I thought if I brought you back in here, you would feel better. I mean this is your room." Steve says, running his fingers through his hair, trying to fix it after it got messed up from sleeping so hard.
Eddie regretted asking. Oh, how he wished he was awake. To be in the hands of Steve was indeed a dream, yet he really didn't get the full experience, because his actual dream refused to let him.
He reaches over and hugs Steve tight. He hugs back, resting his head atop Eddie's. He felt terrible. The sight of Eddie being upset as he was, was heart-breaking. He felt like he was failing him, and not giving Eddie the support he needs. He wants to help him, he really does, but he just didn't know how, which brought him to ask, "Is there anything I can do?"
"Not really," Eddie replies, sounding sleepy.
"You can talk to me Eddie. I'm here for you, I'm here to listen." He says, getting a drowsy Eddie to respond with "mhm." After a few seconds of silence, Steve feels Eddie's grip loosen. He chuckles dryly, laying Eddie down gently, trying not to wake him up. Steve lays down as well, wrapping his arms around Eddie, being big spoon while Eddie was clearly little spoon, both sleeping in each other's warmth and comfort.

Sun rays gleam into the window of the trailer, shinning into Eddie's eyes, waking him as he notices hands wrapped around his stomach. His face goes red as he smiles, sitting up as Steve's hands slide off of him. He looks over at Steve, seeing him sleeping peacefully, now not having a shirt. The last time he saw him, he had a shirt on. His shirt.
"I'm alive and well!" Robin says, swinging opening the door of Eddie's room, startling him.
"Oh," She says, eyes going wide as she notices her surroundings, "oh my god I am so sorry." She says closing the door with a hand over her eyes, "your uncle told me you were awake and decent." She says, her voice muffled as she speaks to the only one who wasn't asleep.
"You're alright," Eddie says, standing as he runs his fingers through his hair. He walks over to the door opening it, "Is Wayne still here?"
"Dude!" Robin says turning around, "A shirt looks better on you!" She says, covering her eyes again, "And no, he left around Six." Robin states, starting to walk down the hall. Eddie scoffs, throwing on a short-sleeved AC/DC shirt, then meeting Robin in the living room.
