|Third Person POV|

Sonic was just sitting in Shadow's work chair, in his office, he didn't really wanted to come to work today he body had changed within the weeks, he's gotten a little chunky cause of the small little belly he had, his thick jacket with a fluffy hood did a lot of the work to hide his exposing chest, the blue hedgehog was just listening to Rouge, who was furious when she heard the news about the blue hedgehog being pregnant and that pup wasn't Shadow's, surprisingly enough she actually saw Sonic as her brother or son despite them being the same age.

"Calm down Rouge" Shadow tells the bat who was standing in front of dark colored hedgehog.

"Sorry..I'm just pissed...and for someone who has a history of do this shit!" Rouge just growls before taking a deep breath and calming down.

"I know...I having he look at" Shadow admits before just gently putting his hand on his face. "As for the Pup...I'm not taking it away"

Rouge looked at Shadow and Sonic did too a bit shocked by the answer.

"It may not be my kid, but it's still Sonic's and if anything, I'm going to be apart of its life" Shadow added folding his arms over his chest, he was just as mad as Rouge was, but putting the blame on the kid that has nothing to do with this situation was a bit of a stretch, and he wasn't gonna kill it either, he may not be attached to it and Sonic maybe the same way but over time, he just knows Sonic would, it's just how the nature works.

"I-Wow Shadow, I guess you really stick to your morals" Rouge said taken back.

"Just doing what I think is right, Now get going I have a lot to think about" Shadow said turning his attention back to his desk and Sonic.

A sigh escapes the bat's lips, before turns to leave "Alright Shadow, but you better keep me updated about Sonic's Pregnancy" she said before starting on her way out of the office.

Shadow just picks up Sonic out of his chair to sit down with the blue hedgehog sitting on his lap, facing him. "How you holding up, Babe?"

Sonic just pinned his ears down he just feel terrible putting Shadow though this when it's mostly his mess, and the pup, he was kind of nervous about it and scared, he just shivers feeling Shadow kiss his chest. "I'm okay...just...don't know how to feel about this"

"I know it's a lot to take in, but that's what you got me for" Shadow smiles up at Sonic. "Just always gonna support you no matter happens"

Sonic looks back at Shadow and smiles back before he just adjusted himself so that Shadow can work and he can cuddle his husband.

|Sonic's POV|

I have never seen Rouge so mad before unless She was arguing with Knuckles which happens more times than you would think, it kind of made me feel welcomed a little bit.

Though when Amy heard the news she was asking me a lot of questions, and offered to help me out, even if I said no, I guess I hadn't realized how busy Shadow could be because of him being the Commander.

I'm just more concerned about my mental health. I'm kind of scared about that though I know nothing about pregnancies so with the help I can have is rather worth it in a way.
