|Third Person POV|

A black tiny hedgehog who was wearing a light purple onesie, the hedgehog was the news member to the hedgehog family, she has a peach muzzle, underbelly, and arms with a dark blue stripe that goes up to her elbow, dark blue stripes on her quills that are similar to Sonic's quills and a dark blue quill that covers half of her face, and dark green eyes. Who's name was Maria, she has very interesting abilities, being able to Chaos control to place to place and float herself and objects and other people with her telekinesis, she did those genes from Shadow, despite the hedgehog himself not being able to use telekinesis.

A Jackal who looked to be two years, wearing a light yellow short sleeve t-shirt that was underneath light jeans overalls, she was wearing white socks and light yellow running shoes. Who's name was Celestia.

Shadow was hugging Sonic from behind and just nuzzling into the blue hedgehog, of course the cuddling didn't last long when his ear twitches and he heard whimpering coming from his side of bed, doing a quick look over to see, a tiny hedgehog who was out of her crib and struggling to get up to the bed with her parents, the ebony hedgehog just lets out a small sigh and scoops her up, just giving her a kiss on the cheek. "You really need to stay in your crib...Maria" he tells the tiny hedgehog.

Maria only purrs before looking over at a snoring blue hedgehog that hadn't stirred or acknowledge that there was movement on the bed. Before Maria just smacks him on the face, "Uh..." Sonic said he's eyes opening slowly to see his daughter smacking him awake with her tiny hands. A yawn escapes the blue hedgehog's lips as he just shifts to get a better look at who wanted to him wake up, the room was dark but he can make out a pair of dark green eyes looking at him. "Alright I'm...Awake..." he mutters kind of half asleep as he just takes Maria's hand in his own. The tiny hedgehog only purrs and giggles leaving Shadow's side to be laying on top of Sonic, just nuzzling and purring on his chest.

"So still didn't think we needed another kid" Shadow chuckles shifting to that he was laying on his side.

"Shut up...I still hate you for this" Sonic grumbles, he was gonna say something else when the door opened to reveal a teary eyed jackal who was just holding a stuffed animal in her arms. "Come here Tia..." Sonic said sitting up slightly being careful to not hurt Maria who was just cuddling him. Celestia comes over to Sonic's side of the bed and climbs into bed with her parents, this was a normal thing for every kid at some point that they will just grow out of, the jackal just nuzzles into Sonic, who just wrapped his arm around her, giving her forehead a kiss, "It was only a nightmare, Tia just remember your brave..." the jackal only purrs softly before noticing the tiny hedgehog that was laying on top of Sonic's chest sucking on her thumb and just getting comfortable.

Shadow just lets out a sigh, so much for cuddling with Sonic, for himself he didn't really mind sharing the attention with his kids just at night after a long days of work he'd just rather that blue hedgehog to himself, he just reaches over to pet Celestia on the head. "Yeah whatever, that Dream was about it's nothing to be of a bother about it's not true" he tells the female jackal.

Celestia only smiles and reaches her hand over to pet her half sister, she was really a fond of the tiny hedgehog and was rather excited to hear that she was getting a sibling when she was only one and half years old and now that she can meet her it just made her more excited "I'm gonna be the best big sister..." she whispers as to not disturb her younger sibling.

"Your already proven to me that you are" Sonic said just tiredly watching Celestia. The Female Jackal only smiled she did wanted to start a bond with her half sister and so she would always help out Shadow with taking care of Sonic when he was pregnant with Maria, though by two she was able to do a lot more even though she was a fast learner at the early age of one year old walking and talking, but she didn't understand that Sonic couldn't give her the attention she wanted, when he was pregnant it wasn't that he was ignoring her he just couldn't do a lot of things, Shadow did explain it to the jackal when he was handing out with him the most, a small yawn escapes her lips and just pulls her hand back and nuzzles into Sonic's chest, just purring enjoying his warmth it was like she still inside him and a smile smile spread across her muzzle before she just drifted of to sleep again.

"It must be a Mother think, you have Sonic" Shadow tells Sonic, as he was just having a conversation with Sonic, watching over Celestia and Maria, who was still awake she was just laying on her back sucking on one of Shadows inhibitor rings, she was in that teething phase and wanting to put everything in her mouth, that sometimes didn't be long. The tiny hedgehog was just purring watching the two hedgehogs.

"It just feels weird...You'd think that I'd get use to this but no..." The Blue hedgehog said just giving Celestia a small kiss on the forehead, before letting out another yawn, he was still very tired, and didn't want to move to much since the female jackal had fallen back asleep the next was to get Maria to get back to sleep than he can get a good nights rest parenting was harder on the blue hedgehog since he'd never been a parent before so he was going off of instant mostly when Celestia was born, of course Shadow was there to help, when the blue hedgehog was confused about some things like when Celestia would cry for no reason, or just whimper when she wanted something before saying her first word of that being Sonic, then her first steps, the blue hedgehog felt bad for having to miss it cause of his morning sickness and just couldn't be bothered attitude but he was proud of her none of less, just during his pregnancy with Maria, he was just very grumpy at Shadow and just made the Ebony hedgehog, more frustrating than happy cause the blue hedgehog did not want to be pregnant when Celestia was growing up, but things happened.

Shadow was just trying to get his inhibitor ring out of Maria's mouth, of course it wasn't gonna hurt her if she chewed on it and sucked on it, it's just that Shadow felt safer with it being on, even he didn't have know how strong or what his limit was to his chaos abilities and he really didn't want to find out for just be so careless, when he did get his inhibitor ring back from his daughter, the hedgehog whimpered and reached for it back opening and closing her hands until Shadow just gave her ring that was made for chewing, she took it and just started to chew on it. The ebony hedgehog lets out a sigh and just puts his inhibitor ring back on his wrist, before glancing at Sonic, who was still awake surprisingly he didn't look very tired with some bags under his eyes having to always wake up early and sometimes in the middle of night to feed Maria and tend to her needs, just something Shadow couldn't do, besides trying to get the tiny hedgehog to go back to sleep and changing her, and give her some attention.

"I hate how she's allergic to baby formula..." Sonic admits, he did have problem with getting Maria on formula, after all Celestia only got on the stuff as early as five months hold, and Maria on her first try just broke out into a rash on her face, for both types of formula, but baby food she can handle. "I swear babies are like aliens to me..." the blue hedgehog admits.

Maria lets out a small yawn before just nuzzling into Sonic's chest her ears pressed against the blue hedgehog's chest so she can hear his heart beat purring she just curls up into a small ball falling asleep, Sonic legally can't move at this point, on child laying on his left and the other child laying on his chest.

"Hey least you proved to me and yourself that you can handle parenthood, you really special Sonic" Shadow said just giving the blue hedgehog a kiss on the cheek before just taking his hand.

"You know...Yeah I did...I've been through a lot...and to think I made it this far, with a loving husband and two beautiful kids that are a pain in my ass" Sonic admits before just yawning and adjusting himself to get some sleep, "Thank...Shadow" he yawns "For being my everything..." he finished before he just fell asleep.

Shadow only smiled and rubs the blue hedgehog's ear, he was glad himself too that he was able to give the blue hedgehog that life he deserve and wanted after him being in captivity under the care of G.U.N and having to be experimented on and tortured. A small growl escapes his throat and a dumb science project for a selfish jerk, a sigh escapes his lips as he just pulls the covers over them and himself still losing Sonic's hand the only thing he can cuddle at this point he fell into a deep sleep after passionately kissing the sleeping blue hedgehog on the lips.
