|Third Person POV|

Sonic groans awake, the sun was shining on his face and he just rubs eyes, yawning and stretching up his arms. His eyes looking around before he looked down feel wet and saw that his wounds had opened and he was laying in a pool of blood, his own blood, he didn't remember what happened last night, besides not sleeping and just sick of the silence in his own head. Which was still there he just felt so empty. He just gets off of the bed and tried to walk towards to the door before he fell to the floor face first, lifting himself up he saw that he was chained to the bed, but there was a bathroom that the chain reaches up to. The blue hedgehog only lets out a painful growl before pulling on the chain to get his leg lose or at least brake the leg of the bed, his ear twitches when the door opened his green eyes were met with red eyes.

Hey Shads mind let me lose

Shadow only narrowed his eyes he wasn't gonna fall for any of Sonic's tricks not after he harmed himself and attack him, almost killing him, with serious look on his face he only shakes his head. "This is for your own good, Sonic"

May own good?

Sonic only smiles and stands up looking up at the ebony hedgehog, his eyes dull, and crazy look on his face a deep chuckle.

Don't you understand! Stripes! Shads! Ultimate Handsomeness! Do you want me to be happy!

Shadow didn't seem to mind the nicknames Sonic was giving him, but when he said he wanted Sonic to be happy he didn't mean this, then again the ebony hedgehog doesn't know what happiness was himself. He just shakes his head, he'd rather have the blue hedgehog be him old self not someone like this who enjoys harming himself and others.

The blue hedgehog only blinked at Shadow when he shook his head at him, then what did he want? The hedgehog only scratched his head messing up his quills a little more.

"Look Sonic, your a danger to yourself If I just you go, I'm at least giving compromise for letting you at least roam around the room" Shadow said looking at the blue hedgehog.

The blue hedgehog only folds his arms over his chest. That's not what he wanted though he didn't want to go back to feeling empty, he liked that thrilled of the blade in his skin it made him feel alive and not alone in his thoughts that made him just feel to empty.

S-Shadow please...I just don't like to be alone in my thoughts just let me...

"No Sonic" Shadow strictly said before he just turn around to leave the room "I'll be back check on you...I'm..." he pauses on what words he could use to describe how he felt about Sonic's actions that didn't make him sound angry with the other hedgehog. "I'm disappointed in you, for yesterday" he simply said before opening the door and walking out of the room closing it behind him.

Sonic blinks, before he just felt himself shaking violently his lips quivering at the words that Shadow said to him, he felt his cheeks start to get wet and the sound of his tears dripping onto the floor beneath him. A disappointment? Was he a disappointment? The hedgehog fell to his knees holding his face, he couldn't stop the tears from form in his eyes as the room just left him in silence.

"So?" Rouge asked looking up at the ebony hedgehog.

"I'll check on him later...I just don't know what to do with him at this point...I'm starting to think that those torture methods G.U.N put him throw was what kept him from just killing and hurting himself" Shadow admits with a small sigh escaping his lips "But I'm still hoping...if he really is my Ultimate Counterpart than he's gonna have to work on that negativity he has"

Rouge only looks at the door before her eyes follow Shadow and the bat just follows behind him a sigh escaping her lips, she just knew that was another way to get the hedgehog to change but they just hadn't found it yet.

Sonic just had his ears pinned to his head he couldn't escape this and he just felt sadness did he or unhappy he just sat there on floor just sobbing to himself. He tries his best to do everything that can to please everyone that he was put under care for but they look at him, with the same look of disappointment, he just dig his nails into his thighs as he just sniffs. He didn't know what to do now, his mind was no longer silent cause it was just repeated the words disappointment at him, the hedgehog just looked at his hands that were stained with his blood from his arms that were covered in dry blood and opened deep cut wounds, a red rash on the side of his stomach. He looked like a disappointment. He just felt his neck that still had the stitching on it at least he wasn't dumb enough to cut there, but now he wish he did.

I...I can't do anything right...

Sonic just signed to himself before looking at he bedsheets that was stained with his blood from him just laying on it, but he can always start to prove to to Shadow that he's not a disappointment right? The blue hedgehog just got up and started to remove the sheets and blankets off of the bed, putting them in a corner to be washed looking over at the bathroom, he goes over to the door, opening it, at least Shadow was right about the chain letting him move around and take a bath and use the toilet, he turns on the sink water, starting to wash his cuts and arms off to get the blood off.

Shadow was just making breakfast for Rouge, since she asked him to, after all the ebony hedgehog needed to get mind off of what happened last night.

"You made a bit extra?" Rouge commented starting to her bacon and eggs.

"I'm not gonna let him starve Rouge, he's like you and me, he needs to eat despite him forgetting to do so" Shadow replied getting the rest of the food onto the plate he had laid out for him.

"I know Shadow, but did you really have say you were disappointed in him...he probably doesn't even know what that word means?" Rouge tells the other a bit concerned.

"He doesn't need to learn what the word means just the facial expression that goes with it" The Ebony Hedgehog tells her before putting a fork on the plate and started walking up the stairs.

Sonic had stopped himself from trying to drown himself into the sink water, Shadow's words was getting to him and he just thought about ending it all, if Shadow, his own counterpart sees him as a disappointment then wants the point in continuing with life anymore. He doesn't even know those Mobians besides Rouge and he doubts she even cares about him. His ear twitches when the door was opened to the room, he smell the food but he didn't want it, he was gonna go out slowly, starvation at least that gives him enough time to prove to Shadow that he's not a disappointment. He was doing a poorly job at wrapping up his wounds, he heard Shadow walk into the bathroom.

"Do you need help?"

Sonic shakes his head he can do this, he just continues to wrap up his wounds finishing up, he started walking out of the bathroom and sees the bacon and eggs on a plate resting on the nightstand. The blue hedgehog only ignores it and sits down on the floor of the room. Shadow just had the sheets in his arms but a sigh escapes his mouth as he just walks out of the room for a second time to get the sheets washed, he left the plate there in case Sonic was was hungry. The blue hedgehog just sat there and just rest his head on his arms starting to just sob again, he didn't want to think about him being a disappointment to anyone, he was find being disappointed in himself but the other why around.
