|Third Person POV|

Sonic was just trying to sleep it was late and he didn't want to bother Shadow, but the hedgehog was whimpering and shivering in his sleep, it was likely because of the a nightmare, the hedgehog just jolted awake panting and holding his chest, he was just laying on the floor something that he was costume to. A sigh escapes the hedgehog's lips as he just gets up, walking towards the door to open it only to find that it was locked. Locked why would it be locked? Or is it because Shadow is just like the scientists and the Commander with keeping him locked up. A growl escapes Sonic's broken throat before he just charges up a spin attack before just stopping mid spin. He really shouldn't judge a person by their actions even if he's been hurt so many times before, but at the same time it could be just another test or a trap.

"Trying to leave?"'

Sonic's eyes widen when he heard a voice behind him, he that voice to well too. His body just started to shake violently as he just took a step forward only to find the wooden door he was holding had turned into a sliding steel door, and the walls around him had completely turned back into the stained walls of concrete, with no windows nor furniture. The blue hedgehog open pinned his ears to his head, did Shadow lie to him? Or was he dreaming? No he was wide awake. He wanted to say something but his just couldn't. The blue hedgehog flinches back from the feeling of someone touching him, and he just back up more his legs shaking underneath his own weight, he just turned around to see who was talking to and it was just a male scientist, who's face was blackout and glasses just reflected surfaces, in his arms were nothing but a box of torture equipment to try on the blue hedgehog.

"N-No p-please..." Sonic quivered his voice was to badly damaged that his words only came out as quiet whispers for help, he didn't really have time to protest when his arm was suddenly grabbed, and the poor hedgehog was desperately trying to pull his arm away and get away from the Scientist's grip his breathing was heavily and the struggling just began to be more of him crying out to the other to let go of him.

"I hope you can handle amount of fun we are gonna have"

Sonic hadn't really realized that he was having an hallucination so he was just sitting in the corner of the room shaking and sobbing to himself whatever he was seeing was horrific and just made the blue hedgehog terrified for his life, in this hallucinations, the blue hedgehog was pinned to the wall of his own cell with a the Professor, who was just holding a needle in his hand, the blue hedgehog did have a fear of needles he's been pricked by so many that he just had a fear of them, he just weakly screams out in pain and fear.

Shadow who heard the screaming tho it was faint but was still loud enough for the ebony hedgehog to heard gets up out of bed, he didn't really have his gloves on but his inhibitor rings were a must even if they were uncomfortable at time, opening the door to his room he just followed the sound of the cries and whimpering to the living room where he just saw the blue hedgehog in the corner the room just having a panic attack, concerned the ebony hedgehog goes over to Sonic and just takes a hold of his face.

"Sonic!"

Sonic heard his name being called than just, Project S or Hedgehog, or Boy. The hedgehog did feel someone holding his face tho but this hallucination was to strong.

"Sonic! You got to snap out of it!"

The voice was familiar to the hedgehog and it didn't sound the Jackal either, but all he saw was Jackal just getting ready to inject himself, he didn't know what the liquid was but it was pink. The blue hedgehog just pulled away from Shadow's hold and to shake more violently, just grabbing his own chest and started to hyperventilate, tears starting to form in the corner of his eyes he didn't want to remember this Jackal...he hated this scientist the most, the hedgehog only flinched again when he was touched again and the blue hedgehog just had the urge to fight back, and fight back he did.

Shadow was rather to dodge the hitting, and kicking from the blue hedgehog, a sigh escapes the ebony hedgehog and he just gives Sonic a powerful smack across his face. The blue hedgehog only yelps snappy out of the hallucination and his emerald eyes were met as pair of Ruby ones.

Sonic just sniffs before just hugging Shadow and quietly sobbing into the ebony hedgehog.

"P-please...d-don't m-make me go back..." The blue hedgehog whimpers out, Shadow just looked away he heard Sonic but he also completely understand why Sonic was so silent the shocking from his collar wasn't just destroying the blue hedgehog's skin but also his vocal cords, what ever the Commander had done to the blue hedgehog, my the hedgehog quiet fearful of the organization itself.

Shadow only frowns and hugs Sonic back before just picking him up and taking him to the couch.

Sonic didn't really protested to being scooped up in the Ebony Hedgehog's arms he just wasn't surprised how strong he looked just in the hedgehog's arms alone Sonic could feel how muscular Shadow was. But he was confused where the other hedgehog was taking the hedgehog before he placed on something soft. Making the hedgehog stiffen and jump.

"It's okay...It's just something we call a sofa..." Shadow said putting the blue hedgehog back on the couch.

Sonic just blinks, as he sat there on the couch, it was comfortable and didn't feel cold, was hard to sit on either it was warm and bouncy. The blue hedgehog watched the other hedgehog place down two strange fluffy material on the couch that blue hedgehog was sitting on and a thinner material on the edge of he couch, "This is a pillow, we use it to sleep on, and this is a blanket it's to help keep us warm" The Ebony hedgehog explained to the blue hedgehog who only nodded as he felt the pillow and just looked shock at how soft it felt, and the blanket, he didn't mind learning about things he've never seen before cause of his time in isolation inside something that was nothing but concrete, he felt the weight shift cause Shadow was climbing into the couch with the blue hedgehog, laying his head down on the pillow.

What are you doing? Sonic signed I little bit confused, but Shadow didn't answer before he just pulled the down to be laying next to him, Sonic just blinks at how warm and soft the area was, it was much better than the concrete floor back in his cell the blue hedgehog only nuzzles into the pillow, it wasn't long before he just passed out right there.

Shadow just pulls the blanket over them and wraps his arm around the blue hedgehog, he really hadn't noticed how cold the hedgehog felt, a soft sigh escapes Shadows lips before he just held the hedgehog close before falling asleep himself. He was gonna have a lot work handed to him when it came to showing the blue hedgehog about things he's never seen before.
