Hyunjin's POV

I kissed her.

I kissed her. Not because of the paparazzi, not because I was playing my part. But because I wanted to.

Flashback

I was aimlessly walking the streets of Paris. We were given a break from our manager and he told us to let loose. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with this opportunity but I knew for sure that I didn't want to be stuck in a crowded hotel room with the rest of my members. It's Paris for god sakes.

I was appreciating the night sky, a shooting star passed and I wished for something interesting to happen tonight.

That was when I saw her.

She sat at a table for 4, her hair slightly covering her face as the wind blew, and her constantly moving it out of her eyes so she could smile at whatever was on her phone screen. She let out a sigh before putting the device down and turning her attention to the pair in front of her table. They seemed awfully close and she looked very deep into her thoughts.

I decided to make my move then and there. The few sips of alcohol I had with my members before I left the hotel started to kick in as I strutted towards her. I felt like a creep, stalking behind her like this but I couldn't afford to lose this chance.

"Do you think they're a couple or a mother and son?"

She jumped a bit, most likely startled by my voice. She turned around and looked up at me and even if it were for a second. I felt like I was swimming in her eyes.

"May I sit down?" I asked. She nodded and slid her chair to the side as I pulled out one of the chairs at her table and sat down.

"I'm Hyunjin." I introduced, my hand out for her to shake.

"I'm Y/N." She said with a smile. A smile sweet enough to melt my heart. I already knew what her name was. I already knew who she was.

She was Min Y/N, The Min Y/N. The leader of Dreamnote, 22 like me and absolutely perfect. She had this special quality to her that made people fall to their knees in her presence. Everyone knew this but her, and yet somehow she used this to her advantage every time. I've known of her since high school, Before we even debuted. I knew her and all her members but they didn't know me.

I was quite known in school for being a charmer despite being too shy to actually talk to anyone. That was until she transferred to our school along with her friends. Everyone began gawking over her, including me. We sat next to each other in a few classes but she seemed to only be interested in her studies, and she never made any other friends. She kept to her 3 friends, Hwang Chaerin, Park Mina and Choi Yoonhee.

I was no better than anyone else, I spent most classes simply staring at her and I was incredibly whipped. She didn't know about my existence though. It felt like she only had 3 things on her mind. Her friends, her studies and her debut.

She did end up debuting around the same time I did, under Bighit. And once we finished school I only did really see her on TV or at award shows. That never stopped my crush though.

"You're not from here are you?" I asked her, already knowing the answer but simply playing along.

"Do I stand out too much?" She laughed a little, making my heart flutter. I smiled too and nodded.

"I'm here for business with a couple friends." She said.

"Oh wow, so am I." I said, already aware that we were both on tour.

She gave me a quick smile before turning her gaze to her phone.

"You know, you didn't answer my question." I continued.

"You asked a question?" She asked, confused

I laughed a bit, "I suppose you aren't the greatest listener?"

"Selective hearing." She replied with a smug smile herself.

"The people in front of us, would you say they're a mother and son or a couple?" I returned to the question.

She took a quick look at the pair before turning her gaze to me. "I'm not too sure yet. It's a matter of time till they possibly kiss."

I nodded. "So where are these friends of yours?"

"Actually they're over-" She turned her head in search for her group, both our eyes landed on some girls talking to each other at a different table a meter away from us. One I recalled as Mina sent a smirk Y/N's way. She faced me with a sarcastic smile. "They ditched me."

I snickered and watched as she rolled her eyes, unamused.

"I'm sorry, that wasn't very nice of me. Let me take you out and cheer you up." I offered as an attempt to clear the air. She agreed and we got up, heading for a club.

End of Flashback

I walked home cheerfully, refusing to hide my smile. I thought back to Y/N's flustered face when I pulled away.

If I had a pillow, I'd scream into it.

Arriving home, I open the door as happy as ever.

"Why are you so happy Hyunjin?" Minho questioned in suspicion. I walked over to him and hugged him.

"You're the best dancer!" I exclaimed before walking over to my room.

"Did Y/N get home safe?" Jeongin asked, appearing from his room. I nodded, his sigh of relief didn't go unnoticed though.

"Why do you ask?" Jeongin's face started to turn to turn pink.

"I-I was j-just making sure." The younger boy stuttered, His words barely making any sense as his face only turned a brighter shade.

And then it hit me.

All the fanboying, being too scared to talk to her at the store. Even in high school, he would hide from her whenever they were in the same hallway.

"Jeongin." I called. The boy immediately perked up to my voice.

"You like Y/N don't you."
