Hyunjin's POV

"He's totally in love with her! It was unbearable to watch! He's so...so.. suffocating!" I ranted as I kicked the ball over to Seungmin.

"I thought you weren't into her" Seungmin hummed, passing the ball over to me again.

"I-I'm not! But still, what if paparazzi was there? What if our fans saw us? Do you know how bad that would look for our relationship."

"Your relationship is fake anyway, in a few months you guys can end it and then you won't need to worry about her ruining your reputation anymore."

I kicked the ball with force toward Seungmin, it just barely touched him as it landed in the net. "Hey!"

"Relax, I knew where I was aiming" I shrugged before going to grab my water bottle. "And it's not about my reputation, it just pisses me off how he can so shamelessly flirt with someone in front of her boyfriend!"

"Just give it a rest Hyun, you've been on this topic for a week. You said he knows you guys aren't together, He's probably just trying to clear a path to shoot his shot when your scandal clears up"

"Yeah, whatever"

Like I'd let that happen.

Y/N's POV

"Oh Jay's totally in love with you!"

I smacked Mina on the shoulder. "He isn't, I would've known if he was"

Yoonhee scoffed. "Sure you would."

"I would!" I argued.

"He liked you when we were kids, I wouldn't be surprised if he was still into you" Chaerin mentioned, munching on a tub of ice cream while her hairstylist fixed her hair.

"No way, he was just very extraverted."

"Anyway, Hyunjin has a right to be mad, just because your relationship is fake doesn't mean it's completely non-existent. Jay needs to back off until you're single again." Mina said as my other two members agreed.

"Have you talked to Hyunjin since the whole thing?" Chaerin asked, I awkwardly fiddled with my sleeve.

"No.." The 3 girls groaned in unison, "He hasn't called or texted since the festival.. but I'm sure he's just busy"

"Busy avoiding you maybe" Yoonhee sassed as she got out of her changing room. "Why don't you text him?"

I grumbled, "What would I even tell him?"

I don't know how I ended up at the Stray Kid's dorm 3 hours later, but here I was, in regular clothes but my makeup and hair from the photoshoot earlier. My hand began to go numb from the cold of the americano in my hand. The door swung open in an instant.

"Oh! you're not pizza?" Chan questioned with a smile before letting me in.

I returned his smile as he gestured me inside. "Sorry for showing up unannounced, I wasn't sure if you'd all be home."

"Hyunjin! Your girlfriend is here!" He called out as he led me over to the kitchen with him. "I'm making spicy ramen, do you want anything Y/N?"

I smiled and declined as I put Hyunjin's coffee down. "I thought you can't handle spice," I asked, leaning over the table to watch him stir the sauce into his ramen.

"Nonsense! I'm a pro, Don't believe Hyunjin"

I chuckled slightly. "Actually I watched you visibly lose your soul on a livestream"

His quick stirring stopped as he looked at me. "Listen, this is my redemption."

"Hyunjin's in the shower, Y/N's here?"

I turned around to face Jeongin with a smile as he sat next to me. "Hi Y/N!"

"You guys are gonna watch me devour this entire thing!" Chan said, it sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than us as we watched, sometimes conversing with each other.

"Y/N?"

Startled by how close the voice was, I turned around to see Hyunjin standing directly behind me, he looked confused to see me. "Did you just come back from a shoot?"

I wanted to say something in response, I really did. However no matter what I tried, the words failed to leave my tongue.

Hyunjin stood in front of me wearing grey sweatpants and a black tee. His hair was damp, a couple droplets of water dripping down his neck.

I unconsciously gulped, eyeing him up and down. My eyes made it's way back up to his face only to notice his smirk. "What?" I asked as I cleared my throat.

"You're blushing"

His words and his gaze sent alarm signals to my brain as I spun around in my chair facing Chan who was clearly suffering as the heat began to pick up on him. "Oh please, you wish." I muttered with a slight scoff.

He chuckled behind me. I thought nothing of it until he placed his hands on the table, trapping me in place as he leaned down next to my head.

"Really? it seems like you're heating up Y/N.."

"Get a room!" Jeongin interrupted with a pout.

I felt heat race up to my cheeks as Jeongin complained, I now felt oddly exposed.

"Fine, come on Y/N" Hyunjin grumbled, pulling me off the chair towards the hallway, i stumbled a little while trying to keep up with his quick steps.

He pulled me into a dimly lit room and closed the door. I scanned the room for a moment. there were 2 sets of bunkbeds in the room, standing parallel on opposite walls. he walked toward the bottom bunk of one, gesturing me over. I stiffly sat down next to him, only now catching the strange appearance of the bottom bunk opposite of me. Bed sheets were covering the surrounding of the bunk as a faint blue light shown out from the inside. Before I even opened my mouth to ask, Hyunjin shuffled and leaned against the wall to stare at me.

"Ignore that, Felix and Jisung create a bunk fort when they watch their movies." He shrugged like it was a normal occurrence. I felt a gentle hand hold my chin and turn me to now face him. Hyunjin was snacking on a bag of caramel popcorn as he looked at me.

"You didn't answer my question"

My face scrunched in confusion. "You asked a question?"

A sigh escaped from him, followed by a laugh. "You really aren't the greatest listener are you?"

My eyes widened before I giggled a little myself, finding the familiarity of the situation a little humorous. "Right, selective hearing."

He grinned and cleared his throat before popping another popcorn in his mouth. "Did you just come from a shoot?"

The realization that my hair and makeup was done came to me, I had honestly just changed my clothes and left the photoshoot to see him. "I can't look like this normally?"

I watched his eyes look me up and down. "I mean, you could.. but you'd grab too much attention."

I squinted my eyes at him. "So?"

"I don't share."
