Season one
002. "The Vanishing of Will Byers"

Stress pumped in Laylas chest as she was pulling to Hawkins Middle School parking lot. Beginning her part in looking for Will.

Jonathan had it easy all he had to do was sit and wait in the house, Wait and hope that maybe their younger brother would just plop through the door magically. Whilst Layla had a job which was asking more than to just sit. She had to ask everyone who may have had any contact with Will within the last day.

Layla started with who she thought would be the easiest as they were ones closest to him. She shut the car door and began her way over to the park where the three, hopefully four, would he Layla's heart pumped as she walked over, she was hoping she could get words out without breaking.

Layla wasn't close to any of the boys, they mostly just knew her as Wills sister, just as she knew them as Wills friend. When they say each other in occasion they would wave at her, maybe even say "hi" whenever she picked Will up from the Wheelers. Which she never blamed him for always being there, it was a nice, big house.

Their close-knit party consisted of three boys. Mike Wheeler from what she had saw he was closest to Will. He was completely different from his elder sister Nancy from what Will had said. She never could put her finger on why Mike had been such a little shit whilst Nancy was a little "angel".

Then their was Lucas Sinclair, he had always been one to try and show off his charm anytime Layla was around. Which who could blame him, Layla actually found it quite funny, she always thought maybe he would give up eventually, but that just never happened.

And last but not least Dustin Henderson, Layla founded him the most. She loved how halarious he was and him himself had been quite a charmer, he had never struggled to speak his mind to her, or anyone really.

She didn't struggle to find the boys, it was just the 3 of them, and 2 other boys walking up to them. "Step right up, ladies and gentlemen! Step right up and get your tickets for the freak show!"
One of the boys named Troy spoke

Layla was still some distance away but still managed to here him. "Who do you think would make more money at a freak show: "Frogface," "Midnight," or "Toothless?" Troy continued pushing each of them as he said the names.

"Ooof. Tough call, tough call." James the other boy said eyeing Dustin "I'd go with toothless" both of the boys turned in shock when Layla put a hand on both of their shoulders "how about neither?" Layla said cocking her head with a smirk on her face the three boys in the party started laughing

Where as the other two boys stared at Layla in fear "Now get along douchebag one and two"they were both too shocked to speak and scurried away

"Hello kids" Layla greeted the boys who were quite confused as to why their bestfreinds older sister were talking to them, and at their school. Though they didn't mind, they all had a secret little crush on her.

"Hi? Layla?" Dustin had a questioning tone laced in his voice. She never hardly talked to them, let alone at school, the only time she ever did was to talk to Will.

"How are you guys, those pricks do anything?" Layla questioned looking back to where the two scumbags had been standing, keeping their distance. "We're good" they all said in synced

"Good... good, we'll have you guys seen Will?" she said not wanting to waste anymore time.

They all looked at each other with a confused look on their face wondering why Wills own sister didn't know where he was "Uh- I was late out the house this morning... needed to give him something..." Layla said spilling a small lie
