Luz POV
Friday
'Oh I'm so screwed' Luz mentally face palms as her teacher had just announced a pop quiz
'I haven't studied atall recently, I'm so fucked' she continues in her head
"Okay! Everyone will have 30 minutes to complete the test before it is taken up!" Her teacher exclaims
'shit... maybe i could cheat and use my phone? No I'd have to pay to get it back after I got caught last time...' Luz groans at how screwed she is
"Got something to say Luz?" The teacher asked
"no ma'am" Luz says rolling her eyes.
'Second damn week and already a pop quiz, what's next I get stabbed?' Luz thought to herself
"Okay everyone! Time starts now! Go!"
Timeskip 30 minutes
'Oh my God that suuuuuucked so much' Luz complained to herself as she walked to the lunch room. She goes and sits next to her first and only friends here, Willow and Gus
"Hey Willow, hey Gus" Luz greeted her two friends
"Hey Luz" Willow and Gus say simultaneously
"JINX!" Gus yells
"Ha, gotcha Willow!" He continues
"Knock it off Gus" Willow said tiredly
"Woah, what's up with you Wills?" Luz said concerned
"Ah it's nothing, just didn't get much sleep last night" Willow said.
Gus snickered, "Yeah cuz you were too busy 'having fun' with your little girlfriend" Gus teased
"GIRLFRIEND?!" Luz yelled, louder than she meant to. This got a bunch of stares from other people in the cafeteria but she didn't care
"How did I not know about this Willow?!" Luz asked slightly upset that her friend would keep this from her
"Well because I was TRYING to keep it a secret but Gus had to ruin that, but yeah I'm dating Boscha" Willow said annoyed while glaring at Gus
"Sorry" Gus squeaked out
"Anyways, today's sucked so far, got 3 things of homework first period and a pop quiz fifth period," Luz then sighed
"Today has just been really annoying" she added
"Well before you got here, me and Gus were just talking about going to this cool underground nightclub that I heard about from Boscha, you should come with, blow off some steam from today" Willow announced
"Hmm, that's actually a pretty good idea, okay I'll come, what time and where is it" Luz agreed
"11:00, and me and Gus will come pick you up so just be ready by then" Willow said
"Got it, is there anything specific I should wear or what?" Luz asked
"Nope, just wear what you want." Gus cut in
"Okay, this should be fun, wonder if I'll meet any hot yet vulnerable upperclassmen..." Luz wondered aloud
"Hey dummy, we are upperclassmen" Willow said snickering
"oh yeah" Luz said, sad her dream would never come true
"Eh, I still might meet somebody new" Luz said, optimistic about tonight
Timeskip 9 hours
'Ugh, Willow said that she would be here 15 minutes ago' Luz thought, annoyed that Willow was late. Suddenly she hears a car approaching her and she looks to see who it is.
'Took her long enough' Luz said to herself as Willow rolled up to her and rolled down the window
"HI LUZ" Gus quickly exclaimed from the passenger seat
"You ready for tonight?" Willow asked, excited for later.
"Oh hell yes" Luz quickly exclaimed, getting in the back of Willows car, zooming off at 3x the speed limit into the distance.
