Peaceful.
Resolute.
Calm.
That's how Gakushu felt on the day of his junior high graduation.
The past few nights had been highly eventful for the school of Kunugigaoka Junior High school, especially for Class 3-E. While some students were left only questioning what had been going on in the satellite campus, Gakushu was connecting the dots. He wanted to bombard his father with questions, but he was already dealing with his share of attention from the media. And as per usual, work came first to Gakuho, so he wouldn't spare an answer for Gakushu.
At the end of it all, everyone was able to graduate peacefully. The only hassle were the reporters that swarmed the civic center where the graduation was being held, but of course, Gakushu had predicted as much and prepared accordingly.
In the very second reporters had slipped past 3-E's homeroom teacher and his assistants, he saw her once more. An expression filled with spite and irritation, un-apologetically revealing all of her thoughts in that very moment. As one reporter sped towards her, Isogai, and Kataoka, he could see that harsh words were ready to roll right off the tip of her tongue.
There was a certain attraction that came with her tilting her head up and looking down on the reporter as if he were the scum of the earth. Even he knew that reporters were insensitive vultures in times like this, so her anger was justified.
In one swift moment, Gakushu appeared between her and the reporter. A cover was brought over the whole class and they began to move forward as one group.
"With graduation comes a clean slate, but abandoning former classmates in their time of need would be disgraceful."
He turned his head, unintentionally making eye contact with (e/c) eyes. He noticed her tense up a bit, but thought nothing of it.
"I may be ruthless, but it would be a shame for our school's leader to abandon you now."

Uneasy.
That was the only word that could describe how Gakushu Asano felt at the moment.
He tapped the end of his pen against his desk, desperately trying to figure out what to study next to distract himself from his thoughts. No amount of studying could have gotten his mind off of anything that happened today. And for some reason, all of the issues had one connecting factor.
(Y/N) (L/N).
Gakushu didn't mean that as harsh as it did. He was just perplexed. How on earth did she manage to be the center of it all?
First, his frustration and mild awkwardness of her and his fiancé meeting. He grit his teeth at the idea of the two sharing their relationship to him. He was experiencing a certain amount of humiliation at the thought.
"Oh, I'm in an arranged marriage with Asano."
"That's... really weird and honestly, kinda fucked up. I'm his soulmate."
In the midst of him writing out the answer of the conditional probability problem, he began to scribble angrily and accidentally tore through the page. He'd rather die than see the effects of that conversation in reality. He could only imagine the looks both women would give him.
