Sentimental.
Emotional.
And a little bit bittersweet.
That's how (Y/N) (L/N) felt on the day of her junior high graduation. That was years ago now. Walking with Karma in the rain somehow triggered a feeling of nostalgia.
She sat on her bed with her knees pulled up close to her chest, recalling the memory.
How big is the legacy our teacher left behind for us?
Korosensei said that my list of potential occupations were really far from each other, so he actually thought it was a good idea for me to continue on with Kunugigaoka and narrow it down a bit.
"The ceremony is over!"
"Come on, time for the interview!"
"Class E students! May we speak with you?!"
A large group of reporters and news stations swarmed the entrance of the graduation hall. Karasuma and his workers were being overpowered by the sheer force of the paparazzi.
"Did you really kill that monster?"
(Y/N) scoffed and turned her head to the side, "Tch... Disgusting, can't even spare us a single ounce of sympathy..."
Karasuma called out, "Alright! Everybody outside now! There's a bus on standby at the main gate."
Some of the reporters managed to slip past Karasuma and his assistants. One came straight towards (Y/N), Megu, and Yuma.
"Tell me, what are you feeling in this very moment?! How did he die?"
(Y/N) stepped back, crossed her arms, and turned up her head and looked down on the reporter, thirsty for details. She was ready to retaliate with her words, but suddenly she lost sight of him.
He was blocked by the same grey uniform she wore and strawberry blond hair. In the same instant, a cover was raised over the entire class with the words "Kunugigaoka Junior High School".
"What the...? Who are you people? Stop cutting us off!"
(Y/N)'s eye widened at the sight of the Big Five coming to the rescue, and they began to move as one unit.
As they walked forward, Gakushu began to talk, "With graduation comes a clean slate..."
He looked over his shoulder during his strides.
"But abandoning former classmates in their time of need would be disgraceful. I may be ruthless, but it would be a shame for our school's leader to abandon you now."
(Y/N)'s shoulders tensed and her heart may have went a bit erratic from his gaze directly on her. There was a certain appeal to seeing an expression that acknowledged her as an equal, which honestly made her a little bit warm.
Violet. The color of his eyes. The first color she recalled ever encountering. Carved out of amethyst, bloomed from flowers... His eyes were the first to stand out in her grey world.
'Alright, I get why he has some admirers... I guess... Weird.'
Gakushu faced forward again and called out, "Akabane, (L/N), I hear you two are the only ones staying behind at Kunugigaoka. Once things have calmed down, you both better answer my questions..."
