Rainy days

I woke up this morning to my phone ringing. I rubbed my eyes and checked the call, it was Venti. 'Hello beautiful, did u sleep well.' he said over the phone. I blushed. He has been like that ever since we started dating, he hangs around with Keaya too much. 'yea i slept fine thank you, how is work?' i asked. 'Its uhh...a little rough, im putting on a show at the cats tail today, but im allergic to cats.' he chuckled, 'I dont know how im gonna get out of this one.' i sighed and laughed, what an idiot, why perform at a tavern full of cats, when you have an allergy. I dont understand him sometimes.

We had a nice conversation, just going back and forth with questions as usual, but then the wind started to pick up outside. I just suspected it was Venti, and he was messing around with me, but then it started to rain, heavily. 'Ah crap! Uhh, im gonna have to call you back, its just started pouring with rain!' he said. I said a quick goodbye and then hung up the phone. I got up and made my way to the kitchen for breakfast. As i was walking i saw Venti's coat still on the coat hanger, Venti had gone out without his coat, and it was pouring with rain. I love him but sometimes he doesn't know how to use his brain. Well, he should be at his performance now, so he should be ok, i just hope that the rain will stop before he gets out, otherwise that might be a problem.

~few hours timeskip~

Well, the rain didn't stop, not even for a minute. Venti said that his performance finished at around 4 pm, and it was almost half past so he should be back soon. Just then i heard a knock at the door. 'Can you get the door please, its freezing out here and my keys are in my bag.' i heard Venti yell from the other side. I got up and opened the door for him. He was absolutely drenched. 'Oh you poor thing.' i said, wrapping my arms around the freezing boy. He gently pushed me off. 'No baby, im soaked, i dont want you getting a....' he said, but he was interrupted by a sneeze. 'Alright, go and change and have a warm shower.' i said, giving him a peck on the cheek. He nodded and headed for the bathroom. I went to go and get some blankets from the bedroom to put on the couch. Since it was raining outside and there was nothing better to do, i thought a movie night would be good for this situation. So while Venti was taking a shower in hopes of warming himself up, i set up the living room and got out some snacks and some popcorn.

I was sitting on the couch going through movies and deciding which one to watch when Venti finished in the shower. 'Whats this, a movie night? count me in.' he said, sitting down on the couch and wrapping himself in a blanket. I shuffled over to where he was stitting and squeezed into the space between him and the blanket, which made him laugh. 'If u wanted to cuddle, you could have just said so.' he said, wrapping his arm around me. He took the remote of me and scrolled through the movies. We eventually chose a movie and settled down together.

Around halfway into the movie Venti was starting to get uncomfortable. He poked me gently and I looked at him. 'Can i lay on your lap, please?' he asked, giving me puppy eyes. I nodded and he layed himself down so that his head was resting on my lap. I picked up one of his braids and started to pick it out, running my fingers through his still damp hair. Venti smiled softly. I was so engaged in the movie i didn't realize that Venti had started to fall asleep. When the movie was finished i picked up the remote. 'What do you wanna watch n- oh.' i was about to ask, but soon realized that Venti had fallen asleep in my lap. I smile appeared on my face as i kissed him on the forehead and ruffled his hair. I turned of the tv and gently moved Venti's head so i could lay down next to him. He turned around and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. 'I love you y/n...' he whispered. I kissed his forehead and then buried my head into his chest. 'I love you too Venti.' I said, but he was already fast asleep. I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep in his arms. I could feel my body starting to get numb as I put an arm around Venti's stomach. I felt someone kiss my forehead, and then i fell asleep.
