Venti x reader oneshots!

Late night cuddles <3

It was getting late and you were out finishing the last of your work. It had been long day, you didn't really get a break the whole time you had been out completing commissions from all over the place. You felt your phone buzz in your pocket and you pulled it out. It was a call from Venti.

'Hey traveler, you okay?' he asked. You hummed in response. 'Good to hear, Do you know when your coming back, it's really late and i miss you~' he teased. 'Soon, just heading back to Katherine now.' you said. 'Alright, i love you, be safe.' he said. You said your goodbye and he hung up.

You got to Katherine and signed out for the night. You yawned. Venti was right, it really was late. It was almost 11 at night. It wasn't unusual for you to be out late doing commissions, but it never really got past 10pm.

You held out your teapot and closed your eyes. After you entered your teapot you opened the door to your house and went upstairs. You opened the door to the bedroom quietly incase Venti had dozed off.

'Ah, your home.' Venti said. He sounded half asleep. You changed into your pyjamas and layed down next to him. He pulled you close. 'How was your day?' He asked. You explained your day to him. although there wasn't really much of it that was interesting, he still seemed interested in what you had to say.

'Well your day sounds more interesting than mine.' he said, 'I wrote a few poems, went to the tavern for a bit, watched Diluc yell at Kaeya, the usual.' you laughed. 'You must be tired after today, no?' he asked. You nodded. He pulled you close to him.

'We can just cuddle then, words are hard when your half asleep anyway.' he joked. You agreed. He kissed your forehead. 'You always work so hard, i dont know how you do it.' he exclaimed. You laughed. I guess i'm just used to it.' you said.

He lifted his hand up and started to play with your hair. 'Your so strong...' he mumbled. He was starting to doze off. Venti has always been one to shower you with compliments, especially before bed. Tonight was no different.

'Yknow, im really glad your my partner y/n, i really am.' he said, giving you another kiss on the forehead. 'I don't know what I would do without you honestly.' You smiled. 'Im glad that i met you too, your very sweet.' you replied. He smiled. 'Your too kind...'

The night continued on like that for a while, just going back and forth complimenting each other and slowly dozing off in the comfort of each others embrace.

'I love you y/n, i really do...' Venti mumbled, barely conscious. You managed a quick 'Love you' before both of you fell asleep in each others arms.
