Dragon ride

Hiiii, im so sorry for not updating, but im here now to give yall more content.

Im also going to probably start another book soon of just genshin oneshots in general, but we will see how that goes.

Everything was gloomy today. You had had the absolute worst luck. You had to take a journey to liyue, but the stupid teleport waypoints are not working. And then it started raining! So now your stuck outside in liyue with no protection from the rain, and no way of getting home, great.

You were just sitting there in a cave in mingyun village to save yourself from the rain when your phone started ringing. You answered without looking at the name and held the phone to your ear. The familiar chirpy tone of voice spoke into your ear.

'Hey traveler! Where are you, you said you would be back a good hour and a half ago!'

You explain to him the situation that your in and he laughes at you. 'rude.' you mutter.

'Well, i could always come and get you if you want?' he asked. You explained to him again that the teleport waypoints are broken. 'Yeah i know that, i meant that i could give you a ride.' you sat there in confusion. By the chatter and music in the backround it sounded like he wasnt at home either, probably at the tavern, considering thats the only place he goes on the weekend. You sighed and asked for an explanation. 'Wait and see.' he said, then he hung up the phone

About 20 minutes after you got off the phone you hear heavy wind outside, followed by a huge thumping noise. You walked out the cave to see Venti, but not just Venti, he was on the back of his dragon companion, Dvalin. 'Cmon traveler, get on!' he yells down at you. He held out his hand and you grabed it to hoist yourself on the dragon.

Venti wrapped his arms around your waist from behind as the dragon started to take off. 'Well, isnt this nice?' he said, and he sighed. 'Arent you scared?' i asked

'scared about what.'
'getting caught with dvalin.'
'No, the only person that would know who i am here is morax, anyone else would just think im a wizard of some sort.'

You nodded and Venti spoke to Dvalin about where to land. 'A speaking dragon is for more enjoyable than any human friends.' he said. You frowned and he came to realization of what he said. 'No, not you! Your not my friend anyway, your my partner, so there is a difference.' he said, trying to be smart.

You pouted and he hugged you. 'Im sorry.' he whispered. You laughed and hugged him back.

eventually you could see windrise below you and Venti ordered dvalin to land. With one swift movement you were grounded. You and Venti slid off of Dvalins back and thanked him for the ride. He nodded and flew off.

'Well, wasnt that fun?' venti said, taking your hand and kissing it, 'Your welcome by the way.' you blushed and mumbled a thank you.

You took the serenetea pot out of your bag and held it in your hands, waiting for the magic to work. Then you and venti both entered your domain. You walked up the path to your house and unlocked the door.

By the time you had got home it was about 8 pm. You normally go to bed later but today was stressful, and you needed the sleep. You threw yourself onto your bed, and Venti sat beside you.

'Tired, are we?' he joked, and kissed your cheek. You blushed as you snuggled into the sheets. He layed down next to you and you shuffled towards him.

He started to play with your hair as your eyelids became heavy. You could hear his breathing getting quieter too, telling you that he was also dozing of. So you allowed yourself to close your eyes and rest in his arms.
