15: Oh This Had Better Be Good

Dali's POV:

After Ace had comforted me, I fell back asleep and I didn't have the nightmare again. I was grateful for him else I'd have had a heart attack.

With all the nightmares I had every night, I could say I was starting to regain part of my memory. I still could not decipher the faces but I remembered those incidents and I knew about two names; Sage and Axel.

Sage.

We had a strong connection and I could feel it. I wanted to tell Ace about her but I dismissed the idea. I couldn't just go and tell him that I had frequent dreams about his past lover, it would feel weird.

Or maybe the Sage in my dreams was different from his Sage. They couldn't be the same right?

It's so confusing.

Blocking my thoughts, I stood up from my bed and headed for the bathroom, rinsing the sleep off of my face. I freshened up, changing into something presentable and headed downstairs afterwards.

As I stepped out of my room, I heard loud screams of excitement and they sounded like Kayla's.

I finally saw what the commotion was about.

"Pwincess! I'm the pwincess!" she screamed as she ran from a tall guy who had a monster mask on.

"And I'm the prince!" he chased after her and I laughed smally, successfully climbing all the stairs down. Kayla ran to me and stood behind me, giggling.

"Pwinces awen't scawy." she giggled.

The guy whom I had figured to be Ace took his mask off and I felt a small shiver. It was really Ace and he looked hot as usual.

We had a staring contest and with each second passed, I felt more intimidated. Why did I look like a potato that somehow grew legs?

"Yo! Breakfast's ready bitches."

"Hehe, bitches awe female dowgs." Kayla giggled as she held my pinky since it could fit perfectly in her small hands.

I smiled down at her and looked to my side, seeing Draven dressed in a white apron. It looked like he was in the kitchen the whole time.

I inhaled deeply and a smile hit my face at the smell of food that clouded the air. I walked into the kitchen and Draven smiled at me before pulling me into a hug.

"Hey midget." he said.

"Hey, I have a surprise for you." I smiled and he released me.

"Oh hottie I knew you-"

Before he could finish, I lifted my knee and kicked him in his family jewels, earning a cuss from him.

"Revenge." I smirked and took one of the brownies on the counter, watching him suffer. I took a bite and hummed in satisfaction. "This is really nice D." I said sincerely and he was glaring at me. "Come on Draven, it was just a kick." I smirked, repeating his words from when he stole my ice cream.

Oh who's the bad bitch?

Yeah that's right homosapiens! It is I!

"Smart midget." he smirked after recovering and ruffled my hair while I just glared at him, rearranging my hair.

"Where's Rocco?" I asked.

"He's not coming to school today, says he has some business to deal with." he explained and I nodded, taking more brownies.

Draven noticed this and took the plate away, making me pout at him. "It's for Kaykay." he said.

"Okay just one more b-"

He smacked my hand gently and I narrowed my eyes with a pout.

"Dwaven!" Kayla ran in, looking all dressed and ready for school as she hugged Draven's legs. I beamed with happiness seeing this. Kayla was so cute and nice to everyone just like Rose.

"Here Kaykay." Draven handed her a bag and she smiled at it. They did a small handshake which I guessed was them saying goodbye to each other.

"Come on baby, the driver's waiting." Ace said and Kayla nodded before hugging me. She waved at us and skipped to her nanny who had her pink coloured bags and everything she might've needed.

After she was gone, there was silence between the three of us as we stared at each other. I was confused as to why no one said anything and I suspected something.

"Shouldn't we also like be at school or something?" I asked.

"Glad you asked midget." Draven smirked and suddenly threw me over his shoulder against my will and I jerked up, trying to budge away but his grip was firm on me.

"Put me down Draven!" I struggled and he took me out of the house, pressing the remote of his car and I sighed, giving up on trying.

"We're taking the day off." Ace said as Draven placed me gently in the car whilst I glared at him.

"Where to?" I asked.

"Oh you'll know."

Oh this had better be good.
