He pulled the scope away from his eye, standing on the front of the boat as Maisie stood beside it, resting her chin on her palm as her elbow leaned on the wood. Blue stuck his tongue out, enjoying the wind as Lilia sat in the boat, seated behind Jacob as she smiled at the calm atmosphere.
Soon, the hunter lifted his map, dragging his finger along the charted piece of paper before tapping a certain spot lightly, the name 'Dregmorr Sea' written across it.
"With the right heading, we'll be there in three days," He smiled, dragging his finger to the next location, connecting it to the words 'Rum Pepper Island'.
Lilia's smile dropped slightly at the realisation, the princess unwilling to return to her previous life as she crossed her arms, trying not to let the thought get to her. She brushed it off as Jacob walked past her, her blue eyes watching him as he picked up some rope from the ground.
She watched as he grunted, tying one end of the object onto the boat's bow, tying the other end around his waist as he walked towards the Bluster's face, Lilia's eyebrow raising in confusion.
"Where are you going?" She called out.
"To see if this beast communicates as well as she did before," Jacob grunted before jumping off, walking down to Red's left eye, her yellow eyeball watching him curiously.
"Alright, beast," Jacob sighed, pointing his left hand out to the right. "I need you to turn. Okay? Can you turn?"
When he didn't get any form of response, Jacob frowned, trying to point out the direction he wanted to go in with large hand gestures.
"Can you turn," Jacob dragged out the word 'turn'.
"To starboard, yeah? To the right."
The hunter frowned when he heard a low grumble in response, giving into his frustration as he glared at Red's yellow eye, vigorously gesturing to the same direction he had been pointing to with even more force.
"Right, ya dumb beast. Right," He huffed. "Can you turn to the right?! That way!"
Jacob had begun tugging his rope in the direction he wanted Red to head in, the hunter looking up at the two other castaways as Maisie's voice rang clearly through the air.
"You can scream all day. She don't understand ya!"
"Oh, she understands alright," Jacob retorted, glaring at Red's eye as the Bluster emitted a low grumble.
"She's just being monstrous."
"Maisie, darling, I think you'll need to help Jacob out with that skill of yours," Lilia teased, ruffling Maisie's hair, the younger girl chuckling.
"Aye, aye, Your Highness," Maisie saluted, grabbing her own piece of rope as the woman picked up Blue from near her feet.
"You can take care of Red's situation, and I'll look after Blue, and the map," Lilia smiled, Maisie nodding as she tied the piece of rope around her waist, hopping down to Red's right eye.
