As we coupled up to the passenger train Edward appeared to be distracted by something. I asked him what was wrong and he told me to look towards the field, I looked over to see a huge crowd of people wandering towards the station. I thought nothing of it, but as the guard loaded the coaches Edward said that something about them was wrong with them. I took another look and they were now sprinting and I could hear muffled groaning, I yelled at the guard to get everyone in and he immediately blew his whistle and I threw on the regulator and we sped out of the station. As we thundered down the line I held Edward whistle on while yelling at Frank to keep shovelling coal. I looked back and saw those creatures somehow following us still, whatever those are they are not human.
We shot past Crosby and saw three red express coaches at the platform, abandoned. We soon passed by Elsbridge where we saw Thomas in the sidings, we passed through and then we heard screaming as those things tore at our Number 1. It was difficult but we soon reached Tidmouth Station where we found Oliver and James in the yard, we shot into the yard so I slammed on the brakes and we came to a gentle stop beside James. I was rather shaken up and so was Edward, we saw that Oliver had Toad coupled behind him and James was just looking down, I couldn't blame him. I doubt those things would find us.
