A/N: Oh well, I guess I've written a new part even though I said I probably wouldn't. Anyway, it's really weird working on this again. Especially after I realised I went off of the manga, so I'm going to do the little fighting arc and try to realign with the manga afterwards however this all depends on how I feel to write this.

A month has passed since I began training.

Shuna: Should you really be this ready to fight your sister?

Y/N: Honestly? After realising what a bitch she is. I'm probably gonna beat her senseless so that she can find out her mistakes and try to be my sister again

Shuna: ...That doesn't make sense, and also didn't you say you'd kill S/N

Y/N: I said I'd kill S/N if she came to the town again, and now I'm having second thoughts on killing her. Although the thoughts aren't that imposing on me right now, they are there.

I then headed off into the forest to do some more training and I bumped into Rimuru who I believed would be doing something else but it's always good to see him.

Rimuru: I heard that your sister is going to fight you, and you're okay with that?

Y/N: Yep, completely fine.

Rimuru: Are you sure about that?

I looked at Rimuru with a neutral face.

Y/N: Of course, why wouldn't I be?

Rimuru: Well she is your sister, and she must love you. So you must have second thoughts about it.

Y/N: I did have second thoughts but then I remembered how much of a yandere brocon she is and now I'll kill her.

Rimuru: Wow. Well then you do you.

I give Rimuru a thumbs up and walk deeper into the forest.

??: Over here

A feminine voice beckoned to me from somewhere in the forest, so like a complete dumbass, I followed it and there was nobody there. I then heard a low growl coming from behind me, so I spun around and saw a huge cat thing

Y/N: Oh shit!

I slapped the cat thing away with the sheath of my sword and it again tried to pounce at me, so I rolled out of the way pulling my sword out of the sheath and I stared calmly at the cat thing. It got into a hunting stance, readying itself. So before it was able to do anything, I sliced it into pieces, making sure the cat thing was unable to come back, I then swung my blade to make sure the blood came off of it.

??: Well done, but you are still weak... Round 2. Fight.

A skeleton appeared in front of me clad in iron armour and slowly, it gathered more skeleton friends.

Y/N: ooh, a funny reference I see.

I said slicing the head clean off of one of the skeletons further enforcing my comment. I then cut a skeleton diagonally from the left shoulder down to the right arm. However, I was being slow and most of the skeletons realised this, and used it as an opportunity to attack me as a unit. To combat this, whilst slicing some of the skeletons I used my free hand to bash in their skulls, eventually thinning out the horde. The last skeleton ran at me feebly and I stuck my sword into it's skull and sliced downwards cutting it in half.

Y/N: Where did those things come from?

??: Worry not, you are still far too weak... you need to become stronger...

Y/N: Let me tell you something dismembered voice that I'm pretty sure only I can hear. I've been working my ass off trying to get stronger to fight my sister and your coming in here acting as if you own the place and forcing me to fight random creatures as if they're cannon fodder. If you are corporeal and I get my hands on you. I'll rip and tear until there is nothing left.

Shion: Who did you monologue to Y/N?

Y/N: Holy shit Shion don't scare me like that, I would've killed you if I wasn't threatening to kill someone else.

Shion: Like I said who was you talking to?

Y/N: None of your business.

I left going back to the town, thinking about the voice. Maybe it had some reason as to why my voice changed when my and S/N had that 'exchange'. Probably not, but there's always time to figure it out.

Shuna: Welcome back Y/N.

Y/N: Hey Shuna, where's Hakone?

Shuna: He's down by the metal shop, why do you need him?

Y/N: My sword skills need more work.

I waved goodbye to Shuna and left to go to Hakone. Although, I left to go see Hakone I decided to go to Gobta.

Gobta: Hey Y/N! Are you ready to fight S/N?

Y/N: That's getting annoying

Gobta: What is?

Y/N: People asking me about fighting S/N. Sure, it's something I want to do but I wanna see stuff happen here and I don't know. Maybe I'm scared to go, because maybe I won't come back and see the faces of my family, and that terrifies me Gobta.

Gobta: If I'm telling the truth Y/N, I've never had to do or think about something like this. However if you consider all of us in Tempest your family then there is a solid reason for you to come back alive.

I pat Gobta's back as a little thank you.

Y/N: Thanks, I needed that... it's going to be something facing S/N, and the army she may have got... oh fuck I need a few people too if she's bringing an army of humans.

I left Gobta before he could reply to my statement and headed to where I believed Hakone could be after the metal shop.

Hakone: Hello Y/N, what brings you here?

Y/N: I need help, I'm still weak and I need to beat S/N.

Hakone: Okay Y/N, however I do not believe I can teach you that much anymore, considering we are different species with different magical capabilities. If you truly want to get stronger the answer lies within you.

Y/N: Just out of curiosity can that answer be a dismembered voice that only you can hear?

Hakone chuckled

Hakone: What an amusing joke Y/N.

I left annoyed with not getting the answer I wanted and walked back into the forest.

??: You tried to do new things and found it too inefficient to gain strength, so where did that lead you? Right back to me.
