The starry night shined bright. The birds were sleeping in their nest. It was one o'clock in the morning. Dib, Gaz, Tak, were sleeping while Zim was doing something much more important.
"Now that I took out the GameSlave's chip, I can put it in here..." Zim said to nobody but himself.
Zim held the GameSlave's chip and put it in the back of some oddly looking gun.
The gun had water loaded inside, and it was an Irken handgun.
Once Zim put the chip in, the gun started to give off an emerald glow. There was no shame in hiding it. Zim didn't care about the GameSlave and grabbed the gun and commanded the computer to turn on defense mode.
The computer obeyed and shut all the windows, entirely made of Irken metal.
Then, the computer lasered the door, inside and outside.Zim fidgeted with his fingers as he clenched onto the gun. He always obeyed the Tallest, could he really do this? Zim didn't have time to think as the Earth shook.
Zim let out a big loud gasp. "Computer! Check the security cameras! Is the Tallest here?" Zim worridley asked. The computer didn't respond. Zim ran around the lab, yelling for the computer to check the security when the Earth shook again.
Zim made his way to where the Tallest used to call him. Zim, our favorite alien, looked at the black, blank screen and took a deep breath before leaving the room. Once more, the Earth shook.
Zim stumbled his way upstairs with his gun. The security defenses were off. How did this happen? Why did it happen? Zim stood there, thinking what could've happened, when the Earth shook again. Zim fell and his gun was now under the couch.
Zim cocked his head to the right and saw how far away his gun was.
Zim got up to move the couch, but before he did, someone kicked opened the door.
"We need to leave!" A familiar voice shouted.
Zim quickly turned his head to see Dib with a worried face expression. "What.. What's going on?" Zim asked, twitching his antennae. He then saw behind Dib, was Gaz and Tak.
"Hey, masta? Why's the sky red?" Gir asked, waddling into the room.
"There isn't enough time to explain!" Dib yelled, and ran into the room to grab Zim's arm.
"Let go! My invention!" Zim yelled, trying to pull the human away. "No, Zim! We need to go." The teenager said.
Gaz, Tak, and Gir watched from the front door. The two kept yelling at each other back and fourth until it got physical.
Zim kicked Dib's down below, and Dib groaned, letting go of Zim. Zim took advantage of this, and moved the couch. He grabbed the gun and looked up to see Dib being taken away by an Irken soilder.
"Let go of me!" Dib yelled. "I'll eat you alive." Gaz stated, as another alien grabbed her against her will. Tak was already gone.
"What... Dib!" Zim yelled. Suddenly, the soilder struggled to get Dib out the door. Zim ran to Dib and pushed the Soilder's chest.
"Let go!" Zim shouted, and before Zim knew it the bigger Irken pushed him down, causing Zim to trip, but still holding onto the gun.
"Zim!" Dib yelled as the door flung open, revealing the mother ship and it's many other vehicles. People were fleeing and screaming everywhere.
Zim tuned everything out, watching in horror when something, or someone picked him up. Zim snapped back to reality to see Red holding him. Purple was leaning on Red's shoulder. Red smiled and said "Your lucky we saved you."
