"sapnap, mi amor. he's getting that gas they put him under with when he went into surgery." now quackity's voice from that same corner.

they seem so far away. why can't i see them? let me see them! let me see them! I NEED TO SEE THEM!!

a mask gets somehow put over my mouth and nose. and im out within seconds.

the doctors put the mask over karl's face. he was struggling. punching, kicking. i could tell he was hurting. i could see it through his struggle. his vocal cords got damaged while he was kidnapped. from screaming. so he can't even talk now. only make sounds.

they told us he was raped. that fucking physico raped our baby. he took the light that was karl and destroyed him. his happiness gone. i can't believe we let that happen. right under our noses. he.. that fucker is in jail under how many charges right now. at some point there is to be a trial. karl has to testify against him.

i don't know if he can do that yet.

i don't know if he ever will.

so much has happened to him. so many shit. why does it have to be karl? why couldn't the bad shit happen to someone else. why did he have to be so damn loveable? he's so kind and smart and pretty and everything everyone would want in a boy and then he also has to be one of the most traumatized of us all.

as the doctors file out of the room, and we're left alone once again with karl. we sit back down in our seats. i look at quackity, and he nods.

we both grab hold karl's hands, kissing the top of it. we'll never let anyone hurt him again. that's a promise.
