Y/N's POV.

You run out of the west side entrance sweat dripping down your face as you finish yours and Mihno's section of the maze for the day.

Your jog slowly turning into a walk, mihno still right next to you.

"Your drawing the map today" he quickly points. You groan "but I don't wanna today. I'm really tired" you plead pouting your lips to try and seal the deal.

"Ha that's not going to work on me Y/n I'm made l steel" he pounds his chest for effect.

You can't help but roll your eyes.

"And it's not my fault you stayed up with Thomas all night sharing secrets and klunk.

I could hear both of your girly giggles" You quickly look at him a light shade of red flushing across your cheeks.

He smirks.

"I knew it! You do have a thing for that shuck face! I don't get why though if you can have all of this" he jesters to himself winking. You playfully shove him.

"Whatever mihno. I don't like Thomas so let's just get this over with" you say pulling open the door to the map room.

Once inside you grab a blank white piece of paper from the trunk and a dull pencil.

You get to work right away while the walls of the maze are still fresh in your mind.

Half way through though your mind starts to wonder.

To last night with Thomas.

The stars were unbelievably bright or you just never seemed to pay any attention.

But whatever it was it was beautiful.

Thomas had noticed you still awake and went to lay down with you in your sleeping bag.

The night was spent talking about your dreams and making fun of the other gladers.

Then he grabbed your hand you instantly felt warm. It felt...right.

"Hello? Y/n!" Mihno claps his hands in front of your face. You jolt back startled into reality.

"What!" You babble in confusion. He chuckles.

"Daydreaming there?" His eyebrow raises.

"Psssh no" And like just on cue Thomas walks in. You quickly avoid his gaze.
