Unexpected Reunion

Uzi: Hey Mark. I brought N.

N: Hey Mark. What's going- HOLY JESUS!

He yells as he finds a murder drone on my table and the other one on the sled but when he saw the other murder drone on the floor he immediately lost his shock and stared at it.

Mark: Hey dad?

N: Mark? Where did you find her?

Mark: Who? The one on the table? She's a random decommissioned drone we found.

N: No. Not her. Her.

He says pointing to the other drone.

Mark: Same situation except Uzi almost killed me with a rocket launcher.

Uzi: I said I was sorry!

N: Mark.

He places a hand on my shoulder and looks at me with a teary visor.

N: This was your mother's attempt at her murder drone.

Mark: Cool...................wait what?

N: Mark. Your mother built that drone on the table right there.

Mark: Wait. Why would she want to build a murder drone? Y'know the things that try to kill her.

N: She was the love of my life, but even I found this strange. She kept on rambling about integration and it was scaring me. One day we meet up at our usual spot and she brought that drone and something was wrong with her. The drone activated and it stab it's nanites into her back and my spit couldn't fix her in time. She was suffering, and she wanted me to stop it. I had t-to kill her.

He started to sob on my shoulder and I was starting to tear up as well.

Uzi: Hey guys.

We didn't hear her over our crying.

Uzi: HEY!

Mark/N: What? *Sniff*

Uzi: Something's happening to it.

Mark: WHAT!?

I dash to the drone and immediately check the visor and it showed something is on. I quickly attach the monitor to the drone and myself and I start scrolling through the code to see if there was anything related to N's bug. After scrolling for an hour I came across a strange line of code.

I found this weird because ai type 1 was the ai us worker drones used. So what was a worker drone ai doing in the murder drone. After another hour I found the same code that was in N's so I deleted it and started checking through it some more until I saw there was nothing to worry about.

Uzi: So what the diagnosis?

Mark: Nothing major. Just the same code that caused the bug in N. Speaking of, how's V?

N: She's going through the reboot phase.

Mark: Alright. Let's hope this works.

Mark: Alright. Now dad. How would you like to feel the sun?

N: What do you mean?

Mark: While you were being rebooted I took it upon myself on how to solve your overheating problem with the drone on the table and I solved it. Would you like it if I did that to you?
