After we reached towards the pod inside the corpse spire I decided to see if Uzi was ok.
Mark: How you holding up.
Uzi: My CPU is still trying to understand it but I think I get a small bit of it.
Mark: That's good. So, what do you think about outside so far?
Uzi: It's not really what I expected. I never thought outside was so...
She wanted to say something but she couldn't think of the word. I tried to fill in the blank.
Mark: Dead?
Uzi: Yeah. I thought there would be more things to do here than in there.
She said referring to the colony.
Mark: Trust me. That's how I felt felt when I first came here.
There was a moment of silence between us.
Mark: Don't you still need an energy core for your railgun?
Uzi: Oh right. Yeah let's look for it.
We both got up and left to find an energy core.
Uzi: Hey Mark. When did you make a railgun?
Mark: You always talked about making a railgun when we were younger. I decided to make it a reality. I wanted to give it to you for your birthday when it was finished, but you were already making your own. So I decided to keep the one I made, and I decided to make some other things.
Uzi: Like what?
I began to look at some other piles of garbage.
Mark: Remember when I mentioned a blaster?
Uzi: I thought you meant your railgun?
Mark: No. It wouldn't have been able to fire quick enough. I was talking about this.
I pull out a blaster that looks like a pirate's gun.

Uzi: Isn't that from the show you always begged me to watch?
Mark: Yeah.
I say looking down at the floor.
Mark: But it works perfectly. Even the whole key thing. Only drawback is that if I use the key it takes five seconds for the shot to actually be fired and on top of that it takes roughly half an hour for the key shot to work again.
Uzi: So a last ditch effort?
Mark: Exactly. Hey, I think I found one.
I say as I hold up a glowing green cylinder.
Uzi: YOU DID! PASS IT!
Mark: Here you go.
I pass it to her and she immediately slams it into her railgun.
