It's been a complete 24 hours since this project has started. I have taken all precautions to this project. With 95:16:55 hours remaining, it's now time to begin this project.
Mark: There, all precautions: set. Now, something I thought I would never touch again.
I connect myself to the monitor scrolling through my code searching for a long implanted line of code.
Code: <System(emotion_inhibitor(limit:50))>
I stood there looking at that old forgotten code I wrote myself at the age of 5. Long ago I made this code to deal with my many problems when I was young.
My father abandoning me, 5 year old me learning my mother died, 10 year old wandering the outside without any protection, 12 year old me making a truce with a murder drone, present day me saving the murder drone from an infection while learning he's my father, my best friend with an infection that could harm or even kill her, my mother being alive INSIDE OF HER OWN CREATION! I grab the table in anger and sadness recalling all of those memories. When Mo- Marlene told me my CPU shortcircuited I pretended to not know what was wrong, I knew exactly what it was. That code, it was old, when I was inexperienced, I knew it would come around and bite me. It almost costed me my life. Now it was time to face my problems. I deleted it and immediately all those emotions flooded into my CPU causing immense emotional trauma. Now with the inhibitor removed those emotions were free.
Mark: All this damn time. Trying to assure myself believing everything will be fine. I've been trying to be the happy go lucky guy. I've tried to keep myself together, but no. MY MOTHER HAD TO BUILD HER OWN MURDER DRONE TO BE WITH MY FATHER! BECAUSE OF FUCKING COURSE THAT WAS A LOGICAL OPTION! Not only did that thing kill her. IT'S PROGRAMMING GOT FUCKED AND NOW SHE'S POSSESSING THE THING THAT KILLED HER IN THE FIRST PLACE! Hehehehehehehehehehehehe hahahahahahahahahah HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Not now Mark. Hold yourself together dammit. You've been doing it four nine years. When you're done with your project, you'll be free. Yeah, free. Hehehehehehehehehehehehe, yeah right.
After my breakdown I finally got to work and started cross-referencing my code to those of serial designation M. This vessel had to be like mine, I needed it to feel like me. It needed to BE me.
Outside
Marlene: I'll feel much better when I get my hands on her.
V: Then come at me!
Marlene dashes at V claws stretched forwards ready to stab her but V ducks under Marlene and twists her legs making her kick Marlene into a trash pile.
N: Marlene!
N in one hand has his claws out and the other he has a rocket launcher.
N: Help me out Uzi!
Uzi: Right behind you!
She takes out Mark's blaster and her rifle ready to fire her. Uzi starts blasting V. N flys towards V ready to punch her but it quickly swaps to Mark punching a table in anger.
Mark: Dammit all!
I tried to find a way to enter this drone's coding but apparently a drone's code can only be messed with if it's activated first. I don't know if I could make a false activation sequence overriding the code. N said that he's never been activated. So somehow I'll have to risk it and probably get myself get killed trying to do this.
