My eyes slowly opened up as I got off the floor. It was completely dark now. The only thing giving off light was my visor. It was off, somehow. Like, there was some red glowing. I look around trying to see where that red light was coming from, but nothing was showing.

Mark: Where?...

I try looking for the source of that red light, but nothing. I stop looking and I realized something. It was next to the green light, that was my eye... I use the absolute solver and make a random shard of glass and turn it into a handheld mirror, and I saw it.

Mark: ... Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

My right eye is red now. Now my eyes are heterochromic and even harder to cover up. There's no time to worry about that, I need to get a way out of here. I look around the vacant room activating the grid vision thing, I really need a name for that, finding a an exit through the top. I open my wings and fly out the satellite and through the frosted city. A call pops up showing it was from Marlene.

Mark: Yeah?

Marlene: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Her yelling almost causes me to crash into a building but I manage to stabilize myself before I did.

Mark: Jesus! Why did you yell so loud?

Marlene: I was worried sick!

Mark: What? Why? I was only gone for a few hours.

Marlene: Hours!? You were gone for three weeks!

Mark: Wait what?

Marlene: Don't "wait what" me! Do you know how long we've been searching for you!?

Something, clicked in me.

Mark: Hey! You left me for 14 years! You don't get to scold me if you're not any better!

Something, changed inside of me, I don't know what it was, but it was drastic. I felt, malicious, anger, bloodlust.

Marlene: ... Right... I'm sorry. Just... Come back home safely.

The call ends and I'm left with the rushing winds of the winter air.

Mark: What... was that?

Allison: There was a change in your code.

Mark: What type of change?

Allison: A change that affects your fundamental coding.

I tap a few things and make a holographic interface. I look through all my systems and anything else.

Mark: Everything looks ok? What's different?

I continue scrolling through my systems trying to see what's different but there's nothing. There was a split second of red causing me to stop iny tracks. I quickly scroll back up and in red, it was as clear as day.

PROM TODAY!

Mark: Oh fuck!

I close the holographic and fly to that one mall to find a good suit. I can't believe prom was already today!

Mark: Come on! Come on!

I scramble through the all the fancy stores trying to find a good tuxedo.

Mark: Where's a damn tuxedo when I need it!

I don't know what it is, but I feel something crawling on my skin. I look down and panic a bit seeing a black sludge cover my body. I don't know what it is, but it starts morphing and turns into a tuxedo.
