There they were... In the same bed.
Steve felt a bit tense when Eddie held onto him. It was the next morning and they were in the same situation they were at Eddie's place.
Steve let out a shaky breath, trying his best to get out of Eddie's grasp. He was lucky to not have morning wood this time.
He didn't expect Eddie to pull him back onto the bed with his hand "Stay... Please? I gotta talk to you about something...."
Steve started to panic internally. Did he do something wrong? Did he upset Eddie by sleeping in the same bed as him?
Oh god... He couldn't deal with it when Eddie was mad at him. He hated the sinking feeling he always felt in the pit of his stomach.
He slowly sat down, facing Eddie "Yeah... I can stay." He paused for a second before speaking again, this time a bit more hesitantly "What's up Munson?" He asked.
Eddie sat up, yawning while stretching. He spoke softly "Is the door locked? I don't want any eavesdroppers." Eddie said the last part out loud, gaining a groan from outside the door.
Steve snorted softly, relaxing a bit "Yeah... Door's locked. I usually lock it at night... Talk to me Munson."
Eddie nodded, getting closer to Steve "Well... Uh... First I have a question."
Great, now Steve was feeling worried again "Go... Ahead." He was pretty hesitant, scared that this question would be something bad.
"Are you... Into guys?" Eddie asked, sounding a bit hesitant himself. He wasn't meeting Steve's eyes.
Steve raised his eyebrows with an amused smile appearing on his face "I am... Into guys and girls." He said "Why'd you ask?"
Eddie seemed to relax at Steve's answer, meeting his eyes. "I guess... It's because I'm gay... And I just..." Eddie's face was slightly pink and he was covering his face with some of his hair. He didn't finish statement. He didn't have to.
Oh...
The penny finally dropped, Steve looked at Eddie. He was hoping he wasn't reading the signs wrong.
He pulled Eddie closer, smashing their lips together. It took Eddie a few seconds to kiss back, but when he did the kiss became more intense... More... Hungry.
Steve pushed Eddie down onto the bed, earning a whine from him.
Eddie's hands moved up to Steve's hair, tugging at it slightly.
They pulled away from each other after a few seconds, panting softly while staring at each other.
"So... You want to be my boyfriend Munson?" Steve asked, not hesitating this time.
Eddie nodded, pulling Steve into another kiss.
